Didn't think Hudson was gonna get back by Davenport when he got that big lead. Guess he was saving his tires cause he ran him down and then ran away in the last 20 laps. Good to see him win. I like Davenport as well but it's nice to see a first time winner and Hudson's such a nice dude.
Hudson O'Neil waited and held back behind Davenport. When he put the hammer down around 10 to go, he walked off and left Davenport like he was sitting still. Amazing driving!
I couldn't be more proud of what Mark Richards, Hudson O'Neal and the Rocket1 Team accomplished in the '23 season. Being the first Hoosier to win the World 100 and then capturing the National Championship. Huddy is a special racer. I can't wait to see what they can do in '24.
Australian Sprintcar Fan here. I've been watching racing at the World famous Eldora Track for years now. Ever since the VCR was "the new thing" in years gone by. Anyway, I have had a question I've been meaning to ask for about as many years, what is the racing surface of the Eldora Track? Is it a clay track or is it just the kind of dirt, that turns almost rock-hard after it's been dampened a bit then packed down, and raced on? I've also noticed that it takes on a fair bit of rubber depending on what's racing. Is that right? Does it just look like it takes on more rubber when they run Winged Sprintcars, or do my eyes need testing again? Thanks in advance for any answer you might want to give. And I'll try to answer any of your questions about Australian Speedway. Our season will start in October.

They say ZIEGLER jumped the start? How about DAVENPORT who went from 6 th starting spot to THIRD AS HE CROSSED THE START FINISH LINE. The deciders sure do play FAVORITES, apparently it’s NOT ENOUGH that 4-5 cars have tech that the other 99.8% don’t.
That's not how it works. You can pass as soon as the green flag waves no matter where you are. Mason was penalized because he took off before the green was waved
