why the Trezor Keep Metal 24-word version is not compatible to Trezor Safe 5 , assuming i wanted to use the H/W wallet for 24 words storage? it is stated only for Trezor model One usage in the selling ads. Pls advise. thanks.
Hi, with Trezor Safe 5, you can choose a number of words for your Backup (including the 24-word option). However, we've recently introduced a new standard that has 20 words and allows you to go with Multi-share Backup, and this is the one we recommend. You can find more details about it here: trezor.io/learn/a/multi-share-backup-on-trezor We also offer a Trezor Keep Metal 20-word version for this Backup format. However, you can choose the 24 words seed if you want to, it's up to you!
If an attacker has physical access to your hardware, he can try various attacks to bypass your PIN and read out the hardware for the keys. Some have done this in the past with varying success. Having a hardware wallet with a secure element makes this practically impossible so get a Tresor Safe 3 or 5. You still need to set a PIN as a first layer of defense of course
Hi, if you lose your Trezor or if someone steals it, they cannot access your device if it's protected by a PIN. That's why it's important to set your PIN and choose a strong one! An attacker can try a physical access attack to bypass the PIN, but Trezor has protection against it. Trezor Safe 3 and 5 have a secure element chip that has even stronger protection against physical attacks. If you are super concerned about your device's physical security you can use Passphrase - an additional layer of protection. Learn more about it in this article: trezor.io/learn/a/passphrases-and-hidden-wallets To summarize - as long as you have a strong PIN, you're safe. If you want to be extra careful, you may use the Passphrase feature. Hope this was helpful ✌️
Yes, this is possible! You'll just recover your Standard wallet using your Wallet Backup, then enable passphrase and enter the passphrase that's protecting your wallet, and this is how you restore access to your passphrase protected wallet✌️

I made a purchase on uphold. Then, I transferred my coins to my Trezor wallet. Then ten minutes later, I got another transfer showing 0.0000001 of another transfer of the coin into my Trezor account. They call this a "Dusting Attack". They can figure out what I'm doing to my crypto and find out who I am. It didn't used to do that, it would never add an additional line after transferring from the Exchange, but now this has happened twice. Even when transferring to another wallet in Trezor, it follows it.
I see. Firstly, this is not a security issue, your money is safe. However, as you rightly point out, someone may try to use the dust to find out what you're doing with your coins. You have a few options: 1) Trezor allows you to select the UTXOs you want to spend, so you can simply never move the dust again. But you'll have to think about it when sending transactions from your account and actively manage it. Here's how: trezor.io/learn/a/coin-control-in-trezor-suite 2) Move your funds to another account and use Coin Control to exclude the Dust UTXO from the transaction, i.e. send everything except the Dust and leave the Dust in the old account that you will no longer use. This way you can keep your wallet backup and continue to use the same wallet. 3) Create a completely new wallet with a new wallet backup and send your funds to this newly created wallet. Again, you will want to use the Coin Control feature to eliminate dust. We describe this process in this article: trezor.io/learn/a/move-crypto-to-a-wallet-with-a-new-seed I hope this was helpful, but let us know if you have any further questions!

If you Lose your wallet or it is stolen can the older ones be broken open and looked inside for the passwords?
No, why it's very important to keep your device as well as your 12 words/24words/etc separate.
