Referees tried their hardest, but Czechs won.
You know they know the refs fucked up if they don’t put the game misconduct play into the highlights. 😅
The referee greatly influenced the whole match.
The match against Slovakia was whistled by the same referee and the tackle on Filip Chlapík was not punished in any way.
Voženílek finished with his body and got 5 + by the end of the match.

I confess, the second part was really disappointing. Good for Czechs, but Norway was really not up to their usual mark. But referees were really weird throughout the game

Our PP stinks so bad. We had about 11 min of Power play in the second period, and that was just horrible executed. At the same time I gotta give credit to Czechia for having the determination to kill off all those minutes. 👏👏👏
Also happy to see Johansson making changes. However waiting until game 5 is a bit too late. We should have seen changes been done in game 2 or 3 that would have made this line up extra prepared. At this point it's kind of too late. At least I'm glad we are trying something. If we had the same lineup in all matches, I would have been quite disappointed. So far I'll give Johansson a rating of 5.5-6 out of 10. Loads of room for improvement, but better than Petter Thoresen.

TBH the refs tried to undo the damage in the 3rd but that was bad in the 2nd really… like 11 minutes wtf 😄😄😄
Refs were paid for sure. I saw the match from start to end and that ref was just so amazingly blind and stupid, they deserve to be fined or forbidden to ref a match for life, like how can someone in IIHF organization think this is normal behaviour for a ref so please get the clown out from this level of matches... even tho they tried to cover it in 3rd period, but czech's team tempo was already smashed from 2nd so they couldn't do much...
Second period absolutely killed by the referees. Penalty 5 minutes + to end for a foul that wasn't actually a foul and punishing players for physical contacts that were by the rules. The third period was just a consequence of the second.
Im sure you would have felt the same way had it been the other way around a czechia player getting checked to the the head suffering a concussion you and all the fans in the Riga arena would screaming for a 5 minute game misconduct penalty so stop your pathetic bullshit.

Another meh performance. I mean, the amount of breakaways we've burned in this game. 1 on goalie, 3 on goalie. This game should have been 5 or 6 nil. Incidentally, Norway didn't really show up for the game either today. I'm pretty sure, they can play better than this, too.

Both are right. Slovak Republic is official name but everyone is using shorter name Slovakia. Same for Czech Republic is official name but shorter is Czechia.
Full and shortened name...not like its a rarity, theres plenty example, almost every country has a full official and shortened name

Dude, don't be an ass. The same ref screwed us when we played against Slovakia, and I don't believe, that Slovakia are buying refs.
The whole situation is perfectly explicable by the ref having some sort of animus for us Czechs specifically (after all, he's a German), and would whistle against us no matter who we play. Refs are humans, too, and have their human weaknesses.
