Btw I just wanted to add that he mentions that instead of saying a country with the word "the" you don't say it. That is why instead of saying The Ukraine, you say Ukraine. When Ukraine was a region of the Soviet Union English speakers used to refer to Ukraine as The Ukraine. It's been a country since 1991.
