Ubon is one place you must visit when you're there also if you can time it with Candle Festival you will enjoy it even more, the people in UB are nice especially to tourists who make the effort to visit that part of the country.

I feel sorry for you having to leave isan for here😂 Phuket is so different. my gf is from ubon city we go back every December ,perfect size city has central lots coffee shops nice places to eat the pha taem park really nice coffee shop look over to Lao really chill area 💚

There are many natural tourist attractions. We also have the tradition of candle processions during the Buddhist Lent.
