I don’t do this that often. But this is the snow brush just a different color: amzn.to/411zSKI
Love the easy entry system that moves the seat and steering wheel. i had that on my 15 F-150 Platinum along with most of your 10 items. I moved up to a 22 F-150 Platinum which gives me a few new features like trailer back up assist, max tow, power fold mirrors, power up tailgate, chisel camera, 2k generator, max fold seats, work surface, blue cruise, 12in screen, zone lighting, projector headlights, adaptive steering and more hp/torque. I love this truck.
In the summer time be careful with that vin plate, it will burn you good! If the sun hits
Cool(weird) things but valid points! I'm glad you find comfort in your daily driver truck! I have a '24 F-150 and a few of the features I've grown to love is the standard Zone lighting and 360deg camera. I also love the 3-level AUTO climate control, I didn't have to mess with it whenever I hop on the truck. Great comfortable trucks I might say, aside from the power and utility of course.
Yup, love the seat slide back feature when I turn off my Ram
My Chevy does it, welcome aboard!
@ well good for you!
My '21Laramie has 7 of those 10 features. No massaging seats; only a rear view camera; and only 1 heat setting on the steering wheel. I really enjoy my truck.
Welcome to Ram! I have many of these on my 2011 and had the rest of them on my 2020 except for the great cameras. Sat in some show trucks yesterday at the big Outdoor Show in PA. Even the digital mirror has three different views!
Now I’d love to hear what the ram doesn’t have or doesn’t do good compared to the tundra and the f150 hybrid, both trucks owned by Tim in the past
@@kylehamm7287 that’s a hell of an idea.
Me too!
Tim, throw in the Silverado and Ranger also!
Interior light is very dim. It needs more light in places you think it would be there but doesn’t.
@ how long is that video going to be?! 😂
I understand that many folks do NOT need many of these features but for some they can make a huge difference. We all fall into the mind trap of "I don't need that...therefore no one does and it shouldn't be on trucks..." Well, sure, 25 year old me didn't need heated anything or massaging anything but as you stated Tim, we change as we age, usually not for the better physically. I have crooked fingers wracked with arthritis that feel night and day better with a heated wheel, and a many have a wrecked back that these features allow to keep working/playing. NOTHING wrong with that. If you don't need these things, be grateful you don't but they DO allow many to keep on trucking even if it's "boogie" in appearance to others.
Love the reviews Tim! Great job!
FYI, the divider under the rear seat extends further out.
Love the RHO content Tim
I'd get the start stop checked out. Mine activates everytime I stop but of course if u put it in park it doesn't work. It is very smooth and quick and not anything that calls attention to itself but it's definitely very active.
heck no. if it isnt working thats great
Remember when vehicles had ashtrays? And they still have coin holders somewhat. I always use card. Never have coins 😅. Good points Tim
Had my 2016 unlocked in the driveway. Someone opened my door and took whatever wasn’t nailed down. One of those items was my full coin holder. That’s $3.50 down the tubes!
So a story on that. I bought something at a gas station with cash and I got change. Hot damn I thought! I got to put the coins in the slots!!! Kid in a candy store right there.
@@Pickuptrucktalk😂
They are well thought out vehicles for sure
Great video, Tim. You might sell me on a Ram yet.
I just can’t pull the trigger on one when the company seems to get lost in the proverbial desert every five years, never mind wondering who the ownership will be, and how all of that ties into a lack of consumer confidence.
My truck has the driver seat/steering wheel positioning as part of getting in/out of it. When I shut down the vehicle (when I get someplace) and open the door, the seat goes back and down, the steering wheel moves forward, so that it's easier to get in/out of the truck. When I start the truck again (after getting in) everything goes back to my driving position. The positions are determined by the fob used. I can also hit the button on the door to put things into the exit position if I need to (as well as change the setting).
The current production GMC truck fob has a much better range than before. Or at least better than the 2015 I had. Don't recall how good the 2019 or 2020 I had were compared to the 2023. I can easily start the truck from over 100 yards away, with the fob. I also tend to park the truck as far away from anyone else as possible. I don't want someone putting their door into the side of the thing. I don't put my fob in the center console spot for it though. Mostly because I like just putting my keys into a pocket (either jeans/pants or jacket/hoodie) and not touching them again until needed. Which is either in a store so I can remote start the truck, or when I get home to unlock the door and get in.
In my 2023 Sierra, the auto stop/start won't engage in colder temperatures, or when it's not been used enough to have the battery at a high enough level to be OK. IMO, it's intelligent enough to not cause issues this way. I have also had the system not engage in warmer months when the AC was running over a certain fan speed level. Probably does the same for when running the heat.
Also, when I remote start the truck, it senses the environment and either heats, or cools it. It will also heat/cool the seats and heat the steering wheel if needed. Once I get in and hit the 'start' button, it goes with the environmental settings I had previously made (AC/heat). Steering wheel stays as it thinks. I'm OK with that since it gets it right pretty much every time. I also like how the seat temperatures adjusts over time, without me doing anything.
I've used the camera views as needed (full 360 in mine) for getting out of tight areas. Such as backing out of my sister's driveway where there's really not enough room to do a better turn at the end to get into the street as I would like. I can back up enough and use the camera view to see that I'll clear the curb with the front wheels to be good. Not sure how useful being able to pick specific cameras using hot buttons would be for me. 99.5% of the time, the overall view I get, plus either front or rear camera, is more than enough. Then again, I don't have any kids that need to be picked up. I also use the full camera view for parking places. Mostly to make sure I'm not stickout out too far from the spot.
I've had my 25 Lincoln for about 3 months now and just recently noticed that the engine is shutting off in traffic so it must have been memorizing our driving habits before it started to kick in? My 2017 Jeep shut down all of the time right after I bought it new. But, as I understand, it is also supposed to keep the engine running when on max a/c or on a steep incline.
Great video, Tim. Thank you!
Good list of what you like
Great video. The only reason I didn't get the RHO is because I wanted rambox so I got a rebel. Definitely love the truck though.
Again I cannot wait for my rho to be built.
Thanks for watching until then?
@ I always watch your stuff
Great video Tim but as for the Auto Start/Stop feature they 'Ram" should have reversed this function what I mean is when the button is pushed "ON" to turn off this feature it should STAY OFF until you want it back to say DEFAULT ie " ON " that way you would not have to PUSH the button all the time or buy the bypass kit !! Thank god I don`t have it in my 22 Power wagon ! Thanks again for all the videos !
The EPA states it must be default to on for them to get the optional regulatory credit.
Figures it all goes back to money $$$$
@@stevecomatisjr2756 They’ve been buying carbon credits from Tesla for years to make their hot rods. They got tired of it or lost too much money evidently, probably why the V-8s are gone.
My 25 Laramie only has about 1000 miles so far. To my knowledge the stop/start has only came on once. My Silverado would do it on 90% of stops. Loving that so far.
Are there any major engine issues so far? Electrical issued? Great video, awesome content? I'm just worried about the hurricane engine
I know of two that have had major engine failure. There’s a few people that have had batteries replaced on the RHO forums and groups I’m on. Nothing really major affecting thousands of trucks. Keep in mind, this engine has been out for 3 years now.
12000 miles on my 25 rho no issues at all 🙌🏻
@ 12k already? Damn!
@ corporate lease with unlimited mileage means lots of traveling down south 😜😎
Notice how nice the seat her is on the seats. My raptor had creases from the day I picked it up. I did like the tundra auto off start. In order to engage it you really had to mash the brake
Yeah that was good on the Tundra. I never pushed the pedal all the way down either.
Too bad RAM doesn't consider the bad backs on RAM Warlock drivers worthy of comfort too.
Its interesting that the auto start/stop is not happening for you, and I agree thats a good thing. My 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L has that unwanted feature and it nicely stopped working about 2 years ago. Not going to request that they fix that, as it was very slow and shook the vehicle every time it started.
Bad ass truck. Now that you have had the Ford, Toyota, Chevy, & Ram...bet the RHO is your favorite! Except when you goto the pump, then I bet you miss that Duramax.
Exactly! I keep laughing with my friends about how I went from the most fuel efficient to the worst. 😂
Great truck. Love it. Mine is being built as we speak. 😊
Great video👍👍👍
It’s a shame they ruined the center console with that shifter the dial shifter makes more sense. But I absolutely love the truck.
My 03 Honda Accord has that tray in the console. Very handy!
Not everyone wants a car that u can fall asleep driving...in exchange for Supposed reliability
@pickuptruckplussuvtalk I have had it 5 years and at 238,000 miles have only replaced tires, brakes and a knock sensor all my self, no labor!🫣😁 To each their own!
@pickuptrucktalk
What outside temperature does the automatic heated seats set to come on at? Is it still super low like the TRX? I think for the TRX it has to be under 30 degrees outside.
Tim, I noticed on my 2025 Explorer that auto start/stop will NOT engage when the outside temp is 25 degrees or below.
Can you see all camera views at the same time? Sort of split screen view? Thks.
Nope. One at a time. That would be cool if you could.
Order within a hour of the order banks opening on 4/25. Still do not have an RHO.
Do you know what your MPG is?
So what is on the bottom of the center console lid? Never seen anyone cover what’s there.
It’s some math stuff. I’d cover it, but I suck at math. 😂
Trigonometry
I wouldn't mind a link for that snow brush. I need an upgrade! Mine isn't that great.
It is basically this one: amzn.to/411zSKI
Cheap and works great. I need to take it with me when I buy new trucks. I always seem to get hit by a snow storm.
That key holder have a Baja mode? 😂
What do you think about the 2025 Ram 1500. Just got a 4X4 Crew cab for a killer deal 54K$ out the door with a Sunroof. 😎. Not a fan of the I6 Hurricane, Much better than my I4 Turbo Chevy I had, but wanted that Hemi. Your truck is bad ass
Love it.
What features does the app have?
Basic stuff like lock and unlock doors, remote start, find your truck with GPS location, schedule service.
FYI, Auto stop start won’t kick in if ac is or temp is set below 64
It does on other vehicles.
@ correct, this system has a lot more condition parameters that keep auto start stop off than other models.
Wouldn’t the stop/start be hard on the turbos?
Why would it?
That is a nice truck
If the stop/start isn't being activated I'd say that you have a battery problem. It probably thinks the voltage is too low, something is certainly wrong.
How do you turn off the three honks when the key fob exits the vehicle when it’s running? It’s really annoying
I haven’t seen that setting yet.
It is very annoying. Unfortunately I don’t think you can disable it.
Why don’t you set a temp and leave it in auto? I literally never change mine from winter to summer it’s set at 21c and auto and I forget about it.
You mean the interior cabin temps?
@ yes
@@Wauk9390because we often get below zero temps and temps over 100 degrees. Setting it at 21c is crazy. I don’t even run my house that way.
@ it was -35c here this morning , works perfect. Nice and warm in the truck. 🤷🏻♂️
@ completely disagree.
I like my rho
Anyone use the “hold the remote to your chin to remote start when you are just a wee bit too far away for it to work” trick? Trust me. Seriously. You may look like a dork but give it a try.
It works.
Auto start stop is not turning off because youre in Park.
Huh? I said this was based on several different driving scenarios. Not just in park obviously.
I love my 25 Bighorn SST. Swapped my 18 5.7 Tradesman which got the tic tic disease at 100k😮 If someone knows of a stop start delete for these trucks Id love to know about it. They have em for the F150 I heard.
TRX center console plaque burned my arms in summer many times! I really don’t like it.
The Hurricane engine is smooth and powerful. If it proves reliable were golden😮😊😊😅😂😂🎉🎉
Love the RHO. Just don't like RAM long term reliability.
Please for the love of god would the guy who owns this truck in 10 years publish a video about what a POS that infotainment screen held up.
Probably 2029 then for that review.
No misfires yet? Just wait….
Wait till 2.500-3,500 miles let’s see how you like it
Just had the infotainment system go out in my 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie. It cost me $3,478.00 to replace with install. You cannot get aftermarket because it is tied to your VIN number and has to be programmed. It went out less than a year after the warranty went out.
Such is life.
Nice!
@ Suck is life? A Infotainment system should not be going out that is less than five years old. Was trying not to complain about it just state it happened, but I'll bitch about it now. Chrysler sucks. Their quality sucks, these trucks are shit. Heated seats went out already, had the right power mirror go out already, the infotainment system died. This was all before I even hit 75,000 miles! Once I pay this POS off I'm done and Chrysler will never be a product I ever buy again.
@ I meant the warranty. Always seems to happen that way. Shit luck on the screen going out.
@@Pickuptrucktalk Ah 10 4.
