To all those who came here for baseball, this caption referring to the bowler not the batsmam because he delivered full toss in every ball like they do in baseball in cricket it's easiest ball to go for a six...
@@rajwantkaur9579 I don't think he's saying the Bowler is a baseball player but that his bowling was so poor in this over that the "baseball player playing Cricket" reference in the title is about him for bowling poorly.
Just a historical note-there actually was one cricket player who played major league baseball in the US. His name was Andre Rodgers. He was from the West Indies and played in the early 60's. He had a good, solid career as an MLB player, lasting about 10 years. I don't think he was ever a professional cricketer, but he was a cricket player first and adapted his game to baseball.
***** I think a good professional baseball batter would be able to adapt to cricket style batting with a little time & practice. On the other hand, I don't think a pitcher could make the adjustment from baseball to cricket or vise versa. The style of throwing is just too different. Bear in mind that my example of Andre Rodgers is an isolated case. He's the only one I know of (outside of the very early days of baseball-example, George & Harry Wright back in the 1860's) where a top cricketer became a top level baseball professional. I would actually like to see a fair test of cricket batter vs. baseball pitcher, baseball batter vs. cricket bowler, both on a cricket & baseball field using the BEST players from each sport. It would be fun & interesting. Most of the "tests" I've seen here on YT are skewed one way or the other. The sports, for all their seeming similarities are different enough that the skills are not necessarily translateable. I would suspect that, after some practice and adjustment, the baseball & cricket players would look competent in the other sport because they are great athletes, but wouldn't be up to the best professional level in the sport not their own. I have no axe to grind. I grew up a baseball fan, but I've seen a little cricket and what I've seen Ive liked and found very intriguing.
Neo Luddite I agree with you. The bowler is shit. He must be a baseball player or he must think he's in a baseball match! Ha ha ha. Baseball also uses white balls.
I played baseball through my teens. I started playing cricket because it was part of my rugby club. Hitting sixes if they were full tosses was easy; mind you, these are majestic. I ended up batting at number 5, 6, or 7 and averaged 29 runs over my 15 years. I threw my wicket away a lot when we batted first. In the late overs, I tried to hit nothing but boundaries. One year, I decided I wouldn't do that and ended up with 3 or 4 not outs. My average shot through the roof, and it didn't hurt the team. I did manage to get 4 teeth knocked out, getting a top edge to a full toss. It was very hot that day. I made the mistake of taking my helmet ⛑️ off because my glasses were getting fogging up. What a jolt, 23 years of rugby a lot of ice hockey, and it was cricket that gave me the most dental problems, haha. Great game cricket, unless you play in a two day game and lose your wickets early. Seventy-five overs in the field is torture when you only bowl a few overs. I learned that when I played in Australia for one season, We were in the A grade, but our team was the Bad News Bears right down to the yellow caps. I had never batted when a 4 seam ball was used. My goodness, the swing of the ball took some getting used to. It was a great experience, and I made many good friends and drank my share of tinnies haha
We had an American exchange student in High School here in Australia and he was focused on being a pro baseballer, he got a scholarship at collage for it later in the US but didn't take it further. Once he got over the fear of the ball being smaller and heavier he was such a good fielder. Never got the hang of batting or bowling but when he was on the boundary he took a catch off the bounce and threw it back to the keeper who got a run out and he went BALLISTIC as we all did. Once the adrenaline wore off his biggest complaint was his hand hurt so much he might not have been able to wank for a couple days!
I don't think so. Baseball players throw the ball by bending their elbow. In cricket, Bowlers are not allowed to bend their elbow while releasing the ball.
If you believe it then you have never played any game. There are good time and then there are bad times mate. It was not the bowlers day and that's it.
Really? Once Brett Lee threw 16 wides in one over. Md. Sami also did that and they were one of the best bowlers of their generation, Stuart Broad got hit for six sixes in one over, by this logic he should have been sacked the next day.
@@Riot777-q9j basically cricket is a game where you hit the ball and run in-between the wickets for runs. If you run twice you'll get 2 runs you run 1 you get 1 run. You can run 3 but it's quite rare because the fielders of the opposing side will get the ball in possession after its struck before you can run the third run. If you hit a "home run" where the ball goes OVER the ropes/boundary as in the ball literally flies over it, you get 6 runs the highest you can get in a fair delivery. If the ball touches the boundary or bounces before the boundary and goes over it, you'll get 4 runs. Basically what happened in this video is the bowler, the person who threw balls, threw it like how a baseball player would do, in cricket these balls are bad to bowl (they are called full tosses btw) as they are the easiest to put away for a six or a four, that's why some people in this replies section are saying what the batter did wasn't as impressive as you thought. It's the bowlers fault for bowling such easy balls to put away. Tell me if you understand this explanation lmao hopefully i dont confuse you
2 points to make. 1 - Cricket is a much much larger game than baseball could ever hope to become. 2- This kind of scoring action happens quite often in 20-20 games.
Fantastic strikes by Travis Birt. I am sure just as exciting to watch by either a Cricket or Baseball fan. For those unfamiliar with Cricket ... here is an old explanation of the game. You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out. When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game
None of them are baseballers... The batsman is Travis Birt and bowler is Clint Mckay. He says baseballer because the bowler's bowling full tosses(not pitching the ball) and the batsman is power-hitting as in baseball.
this is cricket and both batsman and bowler are from cricket.this video is about the bowler who is giving full tosses and made him as a baseball player
It's actually pretty easy. The bowler has to bowl the ball with one hand anyway he likes unless it doesn't go too wide or his foot doesn't go beyond the crease or the ball doesn't soar into the skies. There is a boundary around the ground. If the bastmen run , it's considered as 1 run . Similarly 2, 3 etc. But if the batsmen hits the ball all the way above the boundary he gets 6 runs in 1 ball. If it doesn't go over and just hits the boundary he gets 4 runs
RedRebel8 Haha, this is hilarious. I think they meant the bowler played baseball, because in baseball, the bowl, which is called a pitch, cannot hit the ground unless you want a ball, which is bad. And in these bowls, the ball never touched the ground either
I have played high level of cricket with very high level of baseball players (In Australia so not sure how that would compare to the USA). BUT the baseball players could hit the ball for miles IF and ONLY IF it was in their hitting zone. Anything else like a yorker or bouncer got them out 8 times out of ten. They scored some good hundreds but very very few. I remember one guy scored 190 in like 9 overs could have been a couple more. BUT all the baseball players side cricket is the harder game for a couple of reason: 1st because the ball bouncers and can do anything once it bounces. This can be totally different game to game because of the pitch. 2nd Cricket bowlers (or pitchers as they are called in baseball) seem to get more late swing on the ball so for instance it might appear to be going down one line the move totally to another. Then add to this the point on the bounce and pitches Where baseball player are the best comes to throwing god the arm on them. Hope this helps people understand
The earliest definite reference to cricket is dated Monday, 17 January 1597 (i.e., a Julian date which is 1598 by modern reckoning under the Gregorian calendar). The first ever international cricket game was between the USA and Canada in 1844. The match was played at the grounds of the St George's Cricket Club in New York. The first recorded game of "Bass-Ball" took place in 1749 in Surrey, and featured the Prince of Wales as a player. Baseball evolved from older bat-and-ball games already being played in England by the mid-18th century. This early form of the game was apparently brought to Canada by English immigrants, to the USA by Canadians of both British and Irish ancestry.
Travis Birt never played Baseball. He's a cricketer. Secondly if anyone's trying to play baseball here it's the bowler throwing atrocious full tosses, asking to be clobbered.

That is travis Burt. He was never a baseball player. I have worked with Travis when he played in the superskills tournament in UK. 16 of the worlds best players took part which included afridi, shewag and a host of others. Burt was new on the scene at the time. 2009 i believe.
Exactly ! Travis Birt is NOT a Baseball player. If anything, this video shows that cricket batsmen find 'pitches' which don't bounce ... the easiest to hit.

Lots of cricketers played baseball in winter. We have a competition called the Hatch shield that all the cricketers used to play in. the Chappels were really good at baseball.
For your information this is big bash league which is a cricket league in Australia similar to IPL in India......the batsman is Travis Birt and bowler is McKay and both are Australian cricketers.
So I'm an American who played baseball for 13 years of my life (up through high school). I also just got back from a year abroad in England where I played cricket. Here are some thoughts. In general, I thought that batting in baseball is harder than cricket, but bowling/fielding in cricket is harder than baseball. Baseball batting is harder since you have a much smaller hitting surface. A bat in baseball only has a relatively small segment that you can really hit the ball well off of. Whereas in cricket you have a pretty large hitting surface. Yes, some parts of the cricket back are better to hit than others due to thickness, but really it pales in comparison to the differences of a baseball bat. Secondly, once you figure out how to time hitting a ball off of a bounce in cricket, the bounce becomes nice because it takes speed off of the ball-- so in baseball you're facing generally faster balls being pitched (bowled) which makes it more challenging. Finally, in baseball you have fair/foul balls, so you have a smaller area of the field that you can hit to. Cricket you can hit anywhere and it's in play. Sometimes that's a disadvantage (since if you hit a ball straight backwards in baseball it won't be caught, it will just hit the netting behind home plate, whereas in cricket the ball can be caught), but I usually found it easier to get more hits/runs because of it. In cricket, bowling and defense is harder. Defense for a simple reason-- no gloves. Cricket balls don't seem to be hit as hard as baseballs (I think because of the slower bowling speeds and because of the different ball), but they also are even harder than baseballs, so it's not always easy to catch them barehanded, at least for me. Then bowling is harder than pitching I think (although this may just because I'm used to pitching--more of a personal preference thing) because of the motion. In cricket you can only bend at the elbow by 10 degrees, whereas in baseball you can bend at the elbow as much as you want-- pitching is a much more natural motion. Plus you have the running start and the fact that you really have to bowl on a bounce to be good as added difficulties to cricket bowling over pitching. They're different games with different difficulties and playstyles. That's about it.
Good analysis. The only thing I’d say is that the ball bouncing it makes it harder to play imo because players in cricket are trained to dismiss full tosses pretty easily and every ball in baseball is a full toss basically. The fastest baseball pitch is similar to the fastest cricket ball ever bowled. Both around 100mph.
U are wrong what will a baseball player do when a ball start spinning?where will he make a shot? Answer me.i agree that the bats are smaller, but that doesn’t make it harder to bat than cricket’ baseball players don’t even have length so don’t bring ur bs cricket will always be a harder sport
5 day games are awesome to watch and it is a good thing it shows the strategy involved the skill involved and the patience that the players have. I love watching batters make big 100's and bowlers taking big hauls of wickets
hey mate, ive bowled with a wet ball before, one simple trick! Make sure mid-on or mid-off have a rag to dry the ball off and just bowl cross-seem, u get way more grip!
Bret Lee had a trial in Australia once, overseen by Major League Baseball scouts without really intending switch from cricket. He did it for a bit of fun. He was throwing fast balls at 90mph and hitting the ball 100 metres. Remember this was a guy who had never played baseball before. Think what he could have done after honing his technique. Kieron Pollard went to Cuba and had a hit with Cuban national baseball players and he too was hitting the ball a long way after facing up to some pitching. Baseball players barely move. A batter swings at a few pitches (mostly swing and a miss) and he's done for 15-20 minutes, fielders are mostly stationary because the ball either does not come their way or when it does it's usually straight to them, barely needing to move. Pitcher throws from a spot. This is why so many baseball players are overweight. Some of them would look horrible in cricket whites (with their belly sticking out). Baseball is mostly a stationary game with occasional sprint to bases. It's a game for lazy people and if you watch you almost feel as if the lethargic and lazy attitude of the players will rub off on you. You are better off not watching.
There is a saying that you can see better fielding plays in the stands of baseball games than on the Cricket pitch. Cricket is really a bowler batsman game. The fielding Cricket is pretty ordinary (UA-cam best baseball fielding plays) Far from "overweight" and unathletic a baseballer needs speed and superior reflexes. The contention that there is never hand injuries in Cricket because of "technique" is a long-standing myth.
The similarities between this and baseball are interesting. A six is obviously crickets version of a home run but cricket doesn't seem to have any sort of foul ball. I also noticed a lot of a new era gear and the fans in the stands dress a lot like baseball fans do. I still don't know what the hell's going on in cricket though. I just know that if you had a bomb over the fence that's a very good thing just like in baseball.
He is not a baseball player, but a famous hard hitting cricketer in the Australian regional tournaments... I assume the caption taken from Baseball owing to the fulltoses he throws...
Even though baseball has little action in terms of bat hitting ball, there is something attractive watching players going hell for leather each pitch in trying to hit a home run. This is why it's always so exciting when big cricketers like Gayle, Pietersen, Symonds, among others come to bat. Because ou know if they stay for a while it's going to be exiting.
+Warren552011 cricket is a game of anticipation. Where will the ball be once it hits the ground? Baseball is a game of timing. When do I swing? Plus the motion behind cricket batting and baseball batting are enormously different. In cricket, you use your elbow more than anything. But in baseball, you use your entire body from your feet up. Plus I would love to see you hit a round ball with a round bat squarely. It's quite difficult for the average human to do it much less somebody that has never done it before.
+Warren552011 look up a certain baseball player named Bo Jackson. That guy was an all around badass. He was fast, strong, had a great eye, excellent fielding anticipation, had a cannon for an arm, the only thing he didn't have was a short memory. If he messed up once, he would probably mess up several more times. I can't even tell you how many bats he broke in his career. He even broke a bat as he was swinging and still hit the ball. And he also played American Football, a true symbol of American athletics.
I'm a baseball fan.One could parse about distance and pulling the ball etc but come one, this is fun to watch.Nice to hear the references to the Babe and the Yankees.Cool stuff.Cricket's a great sport. And the Aussies understand baseball vs cricket better than any other country because they actually PLAY both games. Both games should simply be appreciated for what they are.
Borrowed this from *Well Adjusted*: In cricket, it's called a ground, not a park. The numbers on the large scoreboard would show the current number of runs scored by the team in play, and the total scored by the opposition if their innings is complete, each of the batsman's order numbers, the numbers of runs each has scored, and the method how the previous batsmen got out. LBW, stumped, bowled, caught, run out or deflected onto stumps. LBW means leg before wicket, when a player offers a stroke and the ball hits their leg when it would have gone on to hit the wicket and most likely removed the bails. It is the decision of the umpire, or he can offer it for review from the recording monitors. Stumping is when a batsman has the bails removed while out of his crease, meaning his bat is not grounded inside the white line in front of him when the ball is delivered. Running out is when either set of bails are removed before a player grounds his bat inside the opposite or his own crease, having left it. Either batsmen can be run out regardless of who played the stroke. If a player deflects the ball onto the stumps, he is only out if the bails fall. There are three long stumps holding up two bails. Each team starts with 11 players, of which the fielding team have to get 10 batsmen out, before the number of fixed overs is complete in a limited overs game. The best, safest batsmen are put into bat first so that others can assist them progress the scoring. The batting team only have two batsmen on the field at one time. Runs are scored by batsmen running between the wickets/creases, or a ball crosses the boundary rope. A 4 (4 runs) is scored when the ball hits the ground before crossing the rope, and a 6 (6 runs) is scored if the ball crosses the rope without first touching the ground. Scoring highest after fewer balls is the measure of good batsman, scoring 4s and 6s helps. Fewest runs scored after most balls are the measure of a good bowler. Wickets taken are also a measure of a bowler's ability. The caption, 1-43 OVER 4.3 3-203 shows comparative team scores and amount of overs played. 4 overs 3 balls. There are 6 balls per over. D/L stands for Duckworth-Lewis, a complex scoring system that gets used when the number of overs has to be limited due to available light, time or weather conditions after one team had completed their innings. Simples.
I'm a woman, born in England who also has lived in the USA and I love both cricket and baseball. You don't have to hate one in order to love the other. Both are great skillful tactical games. I really got into baseball it's great. Both games have lots of similarities and for those complaining about the baseball uniforms, they have been around almost unchanged in style since the beginning of the game (over 100 years) just like the normal white cricket uniforms have. It's tradition, don't knock it
Dzung Huynh just make sure to take off your balls at home, then play cricket.. it's just look easy but not that easy.. Good luck Man, Cricket is very entertaining game..you would like it.. :P
Lol actually in India , we used to play something like baseball with a thin wooden stick ,so it actually not hard ,but in cricket if ur a newbie u can't even touch a ball if it swings . Baseball is all about hitting
This video is basically 'dissinformation' especially for first time baseball viewers. Begs the question why someone would do that! Anyway, the batsman in the video clip is not a ( converted) baseball player but a cricketer. So the title is basically a lie! The 'pitches' are full tosses which are basically errors or slip ups when the bowler makes a mistake, when the ball is wet, etc. Full tosses are rare and not the norm and deserve the treatment they got in the clip.If full tosses were common in cricket it would be easy for baseball batters to adapt and succeed at cricket...not so easy to adapt when the ball is bouncing and rising up to the batters body and head. Which is the norm for cricket.
Also, because a cricket ball is used for up to 80 overs of six deliveries each, the condition of it changes from hard and shiny (which bounces, swings and seams) to rough and soft (which spins and sometimes reverse swings, which god knows I can't explain how it happens).
Look up on Google a guy called Ian Pont. He was a cricketer (now coach) in English professional cricket. One American Spring (I think it was 1986) he trialled with six MLB teams, including the Yankees, and one of them (the Philadelphia Phillies) even gave him an extended month trial and even played one game during these trials. He pitched at 100 mph during these trials. Towards the end of the trials he got fed up and came back to England to continue his cricket career with Essex.
I am u 19 baseball team captain from south America but In baseball no scope I am seeing then I move to Australia and play their cricket league bbl and England league now money and satisfaction is found in cricket it's very entertaining game but one thing I see not all countries are playing cricket it's still shocking 🙄😂😂
This video is mistitled... Travis Birt was never a baseball player. He was always a cricketer. The bowler was lobbing in high balls though, and they looked like baseball pitches to an American... but did you notice the speed? 122 kmh is about 75 mph. 75 mph fat "pitches", I hope he could smack those out of the park
Geoffrey Zoref Cricket bowlers typically bowl the ball at around 140 kph (85mph) the fastest ever though was around 167kph which is about 104 mph. But the bowling action is completely different in that the arm is straight (unless you're from sri lanka or india that is) and they have a run up, they also don't bowl straight line the bowl into the pitch to use bounce to their advantage which means the ball travels further so it is likely going a bit quicker. But they also have the advantage of momentum. Bottom line baseball players should be able to throw the ball faster than a cricket player. It's apples and oranges though, completely different actions for completely different rules and purposes
For anyone wondering, it's the bowler(pitcher) who's being referred to as a baseball player(he is not actually) because he is bowling(pitching) full tosses(not bouncing the ball). It's not considered a good bowl(pitch) in cricket mainly because the cricket bat is flat and you can hit anywhere so it's easier to lift unless it's a low fulltoss.
The baseball player in this video is Clint McKay, the bowler ... or pitcher actually, coz he's bowling full-tosses. Just shows that average cricket batsmen like TRAVIS BIRT find "pitches" which don't bounce ... the easiest to hit ! HAHA
MLB players are just superior athletes. The rest of the world has not idea how big and strong these guys are. The bat is like a fking paddle lol. Of course this is going to happen.
i don't know much about my own sport? How did you come up with that conclusion? I played baseball most of my life. I believe hes a cricket player. After all he is playing cricket, but he is huge and he looks like a baseball player. Why would i doubt that hes playing cricket. I am just saying MLB players are huge even when they dont take steroids.
i understand. I dont know much about cricket except for what i watch on the internet. dont even really know the rules except that i think the picture has to hit the cricket and the batter has to just hit the ball. Idk i have no idea. All i know is that baseball is fking hard. Ever try hitting a 90 mile an hour ball that curves. I have its fking hard lol
Bs I wouldn't. As in both sports that depends on the piture. All I have to do in cricket is put the bat on the ball. No foul tips? That gigantic paddle? Fking cake
Let me know when you see a cricket player hit a ball of a professional pitcher. Because baseball hitters can already hit off of cricket pro pitchers. So I don't think you can say Americans can't handle that🤔
There are no baseball players here. This clip is from the Australian big bash league. Both the batsman (Travis Brit) and the bowler(Clint McKay) are former Australian cricketers and the title was meant to be sarcastic because McKay was bowling poorly.
This comment should be pinned because everyone else here seems to be clueless about the video and they're assuming that either the bowler or the batsman is a baseball player.

It was a great experience, and I made many good friends and drank my share of tinnies haha
where are you from
We had an American exchange student in High School here in Australia and he was focused on being a pro baseballer, he got a scholarship at collage for it later in the US but didn't take it further.

+Ruby Doobie I'm not so sure. If he did, the paddle would've broke.

@@Riot777-q9j so you don't understand cric i will help

Most bulllsh*t Explaination of Cricket ever...just in and out lol😃
None of them are baseballers... The batsman is Travis Birt and bowler is Clint Mckay. He says baseballer because the bowler's bowling full tosses(not pitching the ball) and the batsman is power-hitting as in baseball.
this is cricket and both batsman and bowler are from cricket.this video is about the bowler who is giving full tosses and made him as a baseball player

Fr
It's actually pretty easy. The bowler has to bowl the ball with one hand anyway he likes unless it doesn't go too wide or his foot doesn't go beyond the crease or the ball doesn't soar into the skies. There is a boundary around the ground. If the bastmen run , it's considered as 1 run . Similarly 2, 3 etc. But if the batsmen hits the ball all the way above the boundary he gets 6 runs in 1 ball. If it doesn't go over and just hits the boundary he gets 4 runs
I've watched baseball for years and i still have no idea how this game works lol. It looks meh

BUT all the baseball players side cricket is the harder game for a couple of reason:
1st because the ball bouncers and can do anything once it bounces. This can be totally different game to game because of the pitch.
2nd Cricket bowlers (or pitchers as they are called in baseball) seem to get more late swing on the ball so for instance it might appear to be going down one line the move totally to another. Then add to this the point on the bounce and pitches
Where baseball player are the best comes to throwing god the arm on them.
Hope this helps people understand
what is a Yorker?
They are DIFFERENT sports. To become a professional in EITHER takes exceptional athleticism and years of practice.
To clarify, the baseball player is the Bowler who is bowling every ball as full toss.
A full toss is what baseball players refer to as a "meatball" straight and down the middle. No movement and easily within a hitting area.
Nope the bowler is Clint McKay and he never played baseball... When they say the bowler pitches like baseball they meaning 3 full tosses in a row...
The Gregorian calendar was named after the Chappell Brothers: Greg or Ian

Good analyze bro. Both are good games. No need to argue about games. Just enjoy it.
@@SachiraBhanu exactly!
@@karlmortonbadger7822 only thing is the ball bounces in cricket mate and spin is hard to play

In cricket, it's called a ground, not a park.
Simples.

Which is the norm for cricket.
this is not a dissinformation, just a simple sarcasm for the bowler that he is bowling like a baseball player. BTW are u australian?
Who balls a full toss to a baseball player?
He's not a baseball player.
The bowler is a baseball player not batsman
3:12 i think bowler is baseball player
A pitcher ⚾
Both are cricketers. It's a false title. The batsman is Travis Brit and the bowler is Clint McKay.
@@satyamrai2333it was sarcasm bruh
The bowler is the baseball player, that was why he was bowling full toss (ball that doesnt bounce)
Also, because a cricket ball is used for up to 80 overs of six deliveries each, the condition of it changes from hard and shiny (which bounces, swings and seams) to rough and soft (which spins and sometimes reverse swings, which god knows I can't explain how it happens).
It happens because of different kinds of pitches and also because of the skills of the bowlers
Travis Birt has always been an Australian cricketer, not a code jumper.
seriously he is bating like a Baseball batter. Clean hitting
Travis Rodney Birt is a former Australian cricketer. A left-handed batsman, Birt represented the Australian national under-19 team
100+ countries play cricket but it's minority compare to soccer
@@mrcfan4619 I know that dude I just telling my journey man🙄
I have no clue what any one is saying down there
The video is edited.only sixes are cropped and displayed. See 2:26 .The score board is 446 not 666
This video is mistitled... Travis Birt was never a baseball player. He was always a cricketer. The bowler was lobbing in high balls though, and they looked like baseball pitches to an American... but did you notice the speed? 122 kmh is about 75 mph. 75 mph fat "pitches", I hope he could smack those out of the park
pitches can go up to 106 in the mlb
yes they could while running, If Aroldis chapman threw it crow hopping he would throw 110
Geoffrey Zoref Record for fastest baseball pitch is 106 mph
Geoffrey Zoref
Cricket bowlers typically bowl the ball at around 140 kph (85mph) the fastest ever though was around 167kph which is about 104 mph. It's apples and oranges though, completely different actions for completely different rules and purposes
i think the bowler is the baseball player who is playing cricket
Uday Bam
He's NOT. He's an Australian bowler. Clint Mackay is his name.
Aaman Chowdhury neither of them are! But the bowler is probably the one they're refering, throwing baseball pitches at that rate
Aaman Chowdhury makay bowled full tosses akin to pitching a baseball. that's what the OP means
He was a cricketer from Australia
Uday Bam nice joke u called him that bcoz he is just bowling full tosses 😂
I think you are talking about the bowler being a baseball player because he is throwing full toss after full toss
Yes he's talking about bowlers
Hes talking about the person hitting the ball
@@975th6
Nope bowler
HAHA
I think it is the bowler who is baseball player 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thats what he ment
@@iprq7276 no
MLB players are just superior athletes.
I am just saying MLB players are huge even when they dont take steroids.
i really dont care much for this post. I dont watch cricket or baseball i could care less really. Im a sucker. Whatever that means.
i understand. I have its fking hard lol
the difference is a fowl tip in cricket is a hit and their sweet spot is gigantic.
Bs I wouldn't. As in both sports that depends on the piture. All I have to do in cricket is put the bat on the ball. No foul tips? That gigantic paddle? Fking cake
0:04 This line will be remembered in all Kayo cricket ads for generations to come.
Isn't bowling where you throw a ball down an oily lane and make 10 pins fall ??
bruh
facepalm
Isn't a pitcher a jug of water?
Let me know when you see a cricket player hit a ball of a professional pitcher. Because baseball hitters can already hit off of cricket pro pitchers. So I don't think you can say Americans can't handle that🤔
Isn't stealing those triangle things a crime? Baseball people gotta replace them all the time that must be expensive
2:57 when does Kris Humphries play pro cricket
more like bowler thinking himself as a pitcher :'D
There are no baseball players here. This clip is from the Australian big bash league. Both the batsman (Travis Brit) and the bowler(Clint McKay) are former Australian cricketers and the title was meant to be sarcastic because McKay was bowling poorly.
This comment should be pinned because everyone else here seems to be clueless about the video and they're assuming that either the bowler or the batsman is a baseball player.
