Osmosis Just what I wanted to ask
Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "mild fatty liver" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Bachalaswin Better Body Rule - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate got excellent success with it.
Winner of a video, I've been looking for "liver test results" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Bachalaswin Better Body Rule - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my co-worker got great results with it.
Cheers for this, I been tryin to find out about "diffuse fatty liver" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Bachalaswin Better Body Rule - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my brother in law got amazing success with it.
Thank you for the amazing work!
I love you Osmosis
Yeah i love osmosis as well 😊
I was diagnosed with cirrhosis based on Fibroscan requested by my gastroenterologist and on december 2021 my score was 15.7kpa, so stage 4 (cirrhosis) which was caused by fatty liver disease, I started the ketogenic diet with intermittent fasting , 1 year, 75 fewer pounds later, yesterday I went for another fibroscan, my score went from 15.7kpa to 4.5kpa, stage 1(mild/no fibrosis) so.. Cirrhosis IS reversible
I Hope you feel well and take care of yourself
yes. depending on the cause. alcoholic cirrhosis is irreversible but other types like viral cirrhosis is reversible

Though there are thousands of videos on UA-cam explaining cirrhosis. But this is the most useful one becoz it shows the functioning of the cell and its pathology in the form of great animation and humor.

Hello how are u doing now? Is ur friend okay?
Well done..Thank you for the info.

Excellent video. Make another video on what to do to keep your liver healthy and what food is good for you or bad for your liver.
What an explanation!!!
You are doing great Sir.

Love love this ... I watched a lecture video, which took about 30 mins, and I usually watch another video for more illustration . For a quick recap, this is a perfect summary !!! Everything aligned with the lecture
Thank you! 🥰

Hi Cardi! Thanks for cool feedback! 🙌🏼 💕 ✨

My uncle had a stomach bloating . He thought it was gas trouble. But when it became frequent for more than a month, for the first time in his life he visited a hospital. ( never had health issues in his 59 years ). Unfortunately,he was diagnosed with end stage liver cirrhosis + advanced colon cancer. Doctors gave a poor prognosis, hardly 5 months .. Sadly, he even couldn't survive for 45 day's...
We lost him on Oct 10th 2021..😔
Miss him badly 😪
I'm sorry for your loss
Was he alcoholic?
@@rt7484Nope... non alcoholic. Surprisingly those daily boozers I know don't get sick either.. Irony.. Isn't it??
I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my mom on October 18 2021. She also was diagnosed with end stage cirrhosis.
@@jocieortega8843 Sorry to hear for the loss of your dearest Mom..I too lost my Mom in 2015 due to Endometrial cancer. Prayers 🙏

Hi ishita samaj mai aaya
Very good explain
It's important to call it specifically as "hepatic or liver cirrhosis" because based on definitions and terminology, cirrhosis itself is a complication which can potentially appear in other tissues or organs as well(e.g. in breast and etc.). Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong. thanks
Simple yet precise.
Thanks, Veena! 😊
Thank you !!

We're glad that our video was able to help you, Rebecca 🙏🏻
I drank myself into the emergency room today. I am already diagnosed with a fatty liver so my mom and cousin sat me down and we watched your video. My take away was Cirrhosis = Death.
So your mom and cousin loves you so stop acting like an idiot. Work hard and win back your moms love cause at moment she says you a real jerk.
Its true also...
No, you can still have a liver transplant, but find GOD so you stop drinking
Outstanding explanation in just 9 minutes.
Thanks @osmosis

A close friend of mine who's dad has this and got transmitted to the hospital and his liver is beyond repair due to years of alcohol abuse so I'm looking to see if there's any remedies or supplements I can find to help him cleanse and detox it.

you made my life more easier man.
Glad to help, Anthonio! 😊
those changes in portal flow (the portosystemic shunt) trigger renal vasoconstriction because:
1. portal hypertension makes the splenic ven vasodilate
2. vasodilation leads to arterial underfilling
3. sympathetic system gets activated (renin-angiotensin-aldosteron, endothelin activation)
4. renal vasoconstriction
The best explanation 👏 thankyou so much 😃
You're welcome 😊

If you are watching this because you drink too much…. Stop drinking immediately!!
Cut out processed foods and eat super healthy.
Worst thing I did through my 30s was drinking heavy and eating fry ups, burgers and chips, fried chicken, pizza, white bread ham and and cheese sandwiches.
Now it’s all oats, peanut butter on rice cakes, low fat cheese, salmon, skinless chicken, fruit abd veg and salad
Thank you sooo much I really had trouble understanding the pathogenisis and all and almost panicked, now it feels really clear in my head, thank you again.

Hi, I just literally love your videos! You helped me a lot to get through Med school. Could you maybe make a video about liver function blood tests? ( for example why specific tests are positive in hepatic cytolytic syndrome and why others in cholestasis syndrome??) It would be sooo helpful! I genuinely thank you for your amazing work!
