I like how 5min in the subtitles gave up, now I can only make out certain words every now and then. Kojima seems like a pretty chill guy tho can't wait to see what games he'll be making. Also glad to see other nations appreciate how glorious Fury Road is.

I haven't watched this video all the way through, but I can already say this video and channel is absolutely hilarious and fun. It's really fun to see Kojima just be out of business mind, be more casual and see him talk about things he absolutely loves. It's always fun to see people just lay back that you've gotten used to being serious one conferences and stuff. These might become few of my favorite videos on UA-cam now, just to get to see my favorite game director being more laid back and just talk about stuff.

I appreciate the attempt at English subs, it shows you care about your English viewers but a lot of it wasn't translated and I missed a lot of what was going on. For some reason it bugged. I hope this improves as time goes on or Hard subs are put in place.

Update: After a bit of research, it seems that after the first 5-6 minutes, the English subs just fall off and stop appearing for the rest of the video, at least for me. I don't know the situation for others.
+Scheefinator It's not a 'bug'. The video makers haven't translated the video, it is relying on the community to do it and submit the translated subtitles. But so far only that first 5 minutes has been done. The subtitles aren't bugged, it's just that that is all there is.

I have never played any Metal Gear Solid game as of yet (I will rectify this very soon. I REALLY want to play Snake Eater once I play MGS 1 and 2) but damn do I respect you as a developer Hideo. I hope that this channel becomes another extension of yourself so that you can showcase other sides of you that your more die hard fans can enjoy. Maybe one day you can talk about the differences in working in Japan as a developer when compared to the United States (if there is any to begin with). Maybe talk about how to work in the gaming industry? For all you know, you could find a protege on youtube that you could take under your awesome wing. As a die hard gamer, I honestly cannot wait as to what you do next. Hopefully you'll find a place where you can go all out with your creativity and make the next revolutionary title. Well, after all these years playing 小島秀夫 games, i finally realised why i like it all so much. For sure, stealth elements, aesthetics and cinematics are a huge part of my love about his creations; But his sense of humour surpass it all. Long live HKP.

Its refreshing to have some youtube content from east (Jpn) and to hear opinions from a talented producer. I suggest maybe keeping content under 30minutes and the movie listigs to be written in English also.Good luck in the future!

Very interesting to see Kojima's film picks. Unfortunaly the translation of the subtitles are not complete. The german subs vanished after 5 minutes and the english after around the half hour mark.
Personally I wish more in-depth views of him about his movies and maybe games that influenced him the most, that would be very nice.
I cannot help but feel this channel will be more popular in the west then in Japan.
