    ABOUT ME:
My name is Brendan Meyers, a former collegiate football player, author, guest speaker, and exercise specialist. With my Exercise Physiology degree from FAU and years of experience personal training/training with professional athletes, I have formed a philosophy that accelerates the unlocking of your athletic and aesthetic potential. From 119 lbs. to 205 lbs., established 2 million + family, and degree from FAU, I am living proof that anything is possible! Through this I have formed a movement called CalAesthetics - the journey you go through to achieve a physique using bodyweight training. Thankfully, this movement has impacted the fitness industry exponentially -- hundreds of lives are being changed every day! Together we can FINALLY change the way our friends, family, and colleagues look at fitness!
Anyways, that is enough about me, now I want to get to know you! Please leave a comment under this video so that I can respond to you ASAP. If you didn't know - I answer as many comments here on UA-cam as I possibly can. So go ahead and drop yours below... It was a pleasure meeting you, and remember - if ya eat right, ya feel right! #CalAesthetics #BCutFit

I have been a personal trainer for fifteen years, although in my 50s, I try to stay abreast of new techniques and information. I watch your videos and a couple of other guys you know with similar plans. I gotta say I admire your ability to express yourself without cursing. Not that I never curse, but I try to express myself with the other million words in my vocabulary! What to keep it classy Brendan !

Brendan about skydiving, I've already skydive and was super afraid because of the same reason as yours, and I can tell you it was one of the most amazing experiences I've had in my life. It is a a super intense moment when you're falling, but as soon as you open the parachute, you don't hear a single noise. You feel peaceful, and calm, and satisfied. As you tell in your videos, at the end it's worth it

I think it would be great to see you talking about life purpose , and how did you found yours, telling us your experiences about that, and maybe some tips on how we can find purpose in life. Another interesting topic would be the books (random number as u choose) that really changed your life and helped you to be where you are now. It does not need to be books, if you're not into reading, just something you did that changed your life , like a course , event, audiobook and whatever, even some prhase or advice that is very important to you, something that we can also try and see the results in ourselves.

well Brendan I would just like to say thank you and I'm new to subscribing your channel and idk why but the first video I saw from you and it was just one of your regular vlogs and I normally don't watch or even like vlogs but something about you and this channels community just gave me a bit of inspiration and faith in myself and it's really from your charisma an attitude that you give 110% of you on all your videos. so I watch another video then another one and another until I subscribed and watched your top 5 flaw videos and I cried. I cried happily know that I found someone, a friend, to help me grow into a better person and having faith in myself and your Ignite videos have inspired to go to the gym more and now I started a log book for logging my exercises and for the food I consume called "Ignite! log book" and my goal is to wake up earlier and earlier each day until I'm accustomed to your 6am routine and workout everyday and never give up anymore. I don't want to be your copy but I don't want to be someone like you one day so thank you for being my inspiration, my mentor, and my hero.

Even when times get low why should we stay positive, what should we do if we start to feel depressed, and why should we do it.

Hey Brendan, could you talk about how you got rid of acne? I have been dealing with it for several years, and it has been particularly tough for me this last year as an athlete, but also as a person. At least now I know it comes from my huuge negativity, let me explain : I get upset really quickly all the time, which brings all this negativity into my mind. Everytime I feel that negativity results in breakouts, and I have tried so many things I don't know what I can do anymore. You are a model to me, because you always seem so positive and confident. I'm trying really hard to be like that, but I just can't reach this goal for the moment. I don't lose hope but I feel really down those days, which usually results in poor motivation, incapacity to work out and a feeling of depression. Any advice would be so welcomed !
Please guys don't be to harsh on me about this comment, I feel like I have been judged my entire life.

The reason I ask is because I have following your VLOGs for a couple months now, and I see you eating outside almost 3 times a week or more. I never would have thought someone as fit as you would ever even go outside to eat even once a month.

Suggestion for talk time: Maybe you could talk about failure Brendan. By this I mean how someone gets an energy boost or motivation to learn and do something (not necessarily fitness related) and then that thing that you worked so hard on is rejected by people and you feel that you will never be good enough at that thing. You could tell people about the babysteps to success and possibly talk about showing those people each step you make until you are at your highest.
Also, I took your advice from you're email and I am stopping IT studies at school as I don't enjoy database work and instead I am studying for a qualification in graphics to excel in what I am passionate about. I may never be a professional but I am taking the baby steps that will take me to my height. (see how that links to the above ;) ). Also, thanks for being my motivation as I am taking my own fat-burning journey that is really working well! :) I wouldn't be where I am now without you I don't think.

Brendan. I'm struggling today with a problem that has made me feel as if I've lost purpose in my life. you see, I'm very passionate towards the sport I play, baseball, and I've recently injured my elbow, which may require tommy john surgery, a devastating procedure that takes a year and a half to come back from. anyways, I've been struggling to keep my cool with others to stay strong, and to find a sense of purpose when baseball means everything to me. if you could help me out in any way, I would truly appreciate it. keep grinding. God bless you and all the people you love.

You should talk about positive energy and how infectious it is and how to use it to overcome certain challenges.

Hey brendan, i think talk time is pretty cool. Another thing i would like for you to do, is just make instructional videos. Rather that be counting macros or diet tips or just anything. I think that would be really cool and helpful and i think alot of people would also appreciate this! :)

You should talk about you thoughts on food. obviously you aim to eat whole foods but what is your reason? do you follow macro based plans or just healthy eating?

one idea you may want to consider talking about is reading. I haven't seen you mention anything about reading for a while now, so I'm assuming its been difficult to fit in with your schedule. I would love to hear more about the material that you read and how it inspires you. Thanks!

for the next talk time you should talk about personal relationships like boyfriend/girlfriend or friendships and how those relationships create platforms for success
