After tutorials about lighting during the sunset and at night, I also plan to do tutorials about lighting caves, etc., so the interior will also be there for sure:)
This is an amazing video and so helpful. I am currently working on a game for school and even though I know how to code, I am no graphics engineer. Is there a way to make my graphics like the game ‘The Forest’ and also is there a way to have lots of grass like in your scene but all over a large terrain?
Thx:) I think it wouldn't be a problem to create something similar to "The forest":) As for the grass, if you use a model with a small amount of tris, turn off grass shadowing, and use GPU instancing, you can really cover quite a large area with grass without much performance drop:)
I plan to make a tutorial with lighting settings that would work both at night and during the day, as well as a simple day and night cycle script:) I think one of the next two tutorials will be about this :)
i have searched a lot of sources but i can't find the answer, i need your help, i have learned about polybrush in unity, but when converting the material to polybrush/ standard/ vertex color. they are not in the Inspector panel, please help me! (sorry I used google translate).
It's hard for me to advise something because I practically don't use polybrush and I've never experienced such a situation before, try to start a new project, upload one model there and see if it will work, it's possible that polybrush is bugged, or models or materials cause some error.
Hi:) Depends on what aspect you're asking? Do you mean level design, environment desing, lighting etc? Well, it also depends on what type of game this open world is, because it is created differently for RPGs, differently for racing and even differently for, for example, battle royale:)
@@SetaLevelDesign environment design, like what elements you need for a big open world scene, you have very awesome videos, but is it possible for you to explain how to create a big scene like 2km?
@@bharatsharma6908 In my case, I would most likely create a procedurally generated terrain to speed up its creation, then start adding main locations depending on game type, player quests, etc., and finally polish the whole area with minor details. Open world is a very complex process and there are no golden tips, you can suggest what is in this video "18 Basic Tips That Improve Your Environment" but it's the tip of the iceberg :)
@@SetaLevelDesign i was talking about unity 6. though i have made some other changes in environment color through global volume and some other settings in it but it was not showing me that virtual environment option in popup. is it something to do with URP and HDRP difference? cauz i was doing my project in URP .
The best tutorial I have ever seen. Keep it up man! Lovely work!!
Thank you and I'm glad the tutorial was useful:)
Loved it
Thx a lot:)
nice tutorial waiting for next :) Thanks a lot.
Thanks:)
Thank you Seta. Your vids are very helpful
Thanks:)
Thank you very much!
I hope that even though this is a short tutorial, it will be helpful:)
Beautiful!
Thx:)
Thank you very much. As always, very helpful. Are there any plans for a tutorial about interior lighting?

@@SetaLevelDesign would I use the unity terrain system, if not what would you recommend to spawn the grass?
Can you do a tutorials about Day night cycle by using HDRP plsss

thanks for this seta, do you have a tutorial where you set this scene up because the assets of the Book of the Dead are all over the place.
Unfortunately, I created this scene only for tutorials so I didn't record how I create it :/
no problem i somehow figured it out, thanks!@@SetaLevelDesign

i have blender 6 and its not showing me any virtual environment option after i select preprocessing.
Blender? Or Unity 6? because when it comes to blender I unfortunately can't help you.

Yes, unfortunately in URP you only have access to basic post-processing, there is not even exposure control:/ Everything there is based on skyboxes:/
@@SetaLevelDesign I seee ! Alrightyyy Thanks 🙃

I'm also planning a tutorial like this but I want to finish the ones with external light first:)
