Being rwandan i would like to say that this documentary was very grim, it is not as bad as they make us to be, what we are doing is moving forward, it would be wise to review the numbers shown here, nwys I'll come revisit this in 10-20 years to see if their grim future is what happened or if our hardwork and optimism paid out Edit: as there were many predictions about us a few years back and as things are we manage to prove it wrong
There is a lot of misinformation here!, I don't have time to debunk all but the plastic card is not 5 euro but 1 and taking the bus is cheap and it depends on where you are going the prices start at 28 cents which is 280 Rwandan francs.
The cave man logic. Africa must learn to ignore them and focus on what works for us not the opinion of some ignorant racists pigs because are the virus destroying the world and Africa.
Ich habe Arte gemocht aber leider verabschiede ich mich von ihr Kanal heute. Sie erzählen nur schwach sinn und falsche Information über Ruanda. Besser wäre, wenn Sie vielleicht mal über Deutschland was berichten wurden.
True, he put there significant misinformation also the plastic bag is 1euro not 5 and the price depends on where you're going price start at 25 cents and no where can you in kigali on bus for even 60 cents.
The Army has to be stronger than the enemies unknown and if problems arise stronger than problems for solutions... And army has to be bigger than the population
zeik04 so where is the black help, the black donations and black tools? The answer is there is none. Blacks don't do anything, they donate nothing and do not build tools. That is why Africa is backward and going nowhere. We don't invent anything of substance, we don't even contribute much to each other in africa let alone our countries. We just know how to talk and complain like you are. Right now an earthquake has devastated Turkey, everybody else in the world has sent help, except Africa of course. We just know how to steal, beg and get. We give nothing. What a continent.

10:30.... I recently moved to Rwanda.... the card costs less than £0.5...and a trip is £0.20 ... NOT £2 and £5.

this is an old documentary, it was created probably before 2017
@@view9845 still woefully inaccurate
I enjoy hearing positive stories from Africa and the possibilities of a brighter future.

The _ARTE_ man travels to Rwanda where he speaks freely of the supposed absence of free speech. And he doesn’t even see the glaring irony.
Very typical from them . They have to follow a certain playbook format while reporting. Probably read the Guardian before traveling

Lots of low key digs at Rwanda... we see you honkeys.

23:40 😂
Very good point though!
All done by white help. White donations. White made tools... I could go all day

Minerals and technology mean nothing without quality leadership.
Aww. Just like America; built with an estimated 450 billion labor hours worth of UNPAID black help. I could also go on all day.
