Run cancels are so hard, I been trying to do it with Jax's Heavy Weapons Variant and Cage's A-List...the window to link hits is damn tight.
And when I say 'Run Cancel' I'm referring to the stuff like cancelling Jax's rocket launcher or one of Cage's chargeable specials in the mentioned variations....not the easy run cancel you can do after hitting a certain link like Cassie or Sub Zero's 2,4,2 chain.
GEMINIVice1 I know what you mean. I've only tried it a few times but its hard as hell. Hell even Scorpion's fire ball cancels are hard. Though apparently its supposed to be harder now.
Kung Lao has a run cancel Combo too. I think there is a run cancel tutorial. They need to make a slow one because it's too difficult.

GEMINIVice1 IMO, run cancel is the best milestone for anyone training to be very good, but I think you'll be almost invincible if you perfect parrying

Jax at his absolute prime!! I MISS THIS JAX!! Hits fast hard and could mix with command grab options!! Like YOU KNEW HE WAS COMING FOR THAT OVERHEAD!!! But u could be caught lacking with the lows or you be punished. And a punishing range game...good times

I did a combo as well, it is around 20 through 30 hits, no pumped up variation only wrestler or heavy weapons
Input: down dash punch (be sure to be in corner of map) crouch (b quick) x x4, gotcha grab super until u run out of meter then gotcha grab or figure out another move will probs get you 23ish hits
WOOOOOOOOOooooooh !!!! That first combo had me doing that Ric Flair mixed with the sour face. Such a devastating combo for whomever gets caught with that. The beat hasn't even started by then either. HA HAA !!!! Quality stuff. Salaam !

My friend 3:18 grab varation how do u end it with an uppercut? I dont see this in the moves list
@Marcus Sylver when you do the grab variation you have to enhance it with RT or R1
@sell241 you have to hold the rocket launcher and then run forward,not dash forward..Fwd Fwd R2/RT etc.

jax is my favorite character and hero from 16 years ago till now and pumped up is my favorite variation in mkx because of the special gotcha grab of it .
my highest combos in pumped up is :
-midscreeen no meter : 36%
-midscreen 1 bar : 42%
-midscreen 2 bars : 45%
-corner no meter : 43%
-corner 1 bar : 45%
-corner 2 bars : 47%
how ever you did a great job with all 3 variations .

Justin Riley He's using run cancels. If you look at the stamina bar you'll see that he's cancelling them really early, meaning he literally does the run cancel then immediately presses 11

To cancel his Rocket, do you HAVE TO delay the rocket or is it possible to cancel right out of the button input.

jax is my main I got his moves down its just when I play online I get nervous and mess it all up. it gets discouraging after a while but like you say just keep practicing right but god is it frustrating getting beat when you know it's your own fault for being so nervous.it's one thing if someone is better but another when you beat yourself
Just keep playing online. You will eventually break those jitters
That's the struggle when playing a character that requires a lot of execution online. Takes a lot of determination to stick with characters like Jax. I swapped to shang in mk9 because the online struggle was too real for me.
+Tod Anderson It's usually like that when you want to take what you've learned into a real match, don't give up. And most of the time, players who's execution heavy go thru that phase of flopping there combos until their comfortable. Just relax and take a deep breath. And look at your mistakes. That's when your Jax will start to shine.

+Zay Arts You can get out of it but the low is unblockable more than likely the opponent is holding block so by the time he lets go of it to try to jump out he gets hit by the unblockable low not expecting a reset grab. Or he reacts to the grab and tries to tech it but fails so afraid more damage is coming he blocks and gets caught by it. or jax can just antiair him when he sees that hes going to try and jump out.
