Really good content ..earned a subscriber
great summary, thank you
Thanks. It was really beneficial.
Please explain architecture and call flows of each generation.. Also need video regarding packet core and RAN concepts in depth

@@3G4G5G thankyou so much
9:15 First iPhone was 2.75G phone because it supported EDGE technology, not only GPRS. Despite that good presentation of history of mobile telco.
Hey, at around 14:00 you mention that China Mobile supported TD-SCDMA, which is based on Time Division Duplexing. Is TDD always narrowband? ANd likewise is Frequency Division Duplexing (FDD) always wideband? Why would they actively want TDD then? What is the advantage of TDD over FDD and vice versa?
The normal 3G TDD is 5MHz wideband, like FDD but nobody deployed it. China wanted their own standard hence they developed narrowband TDD which is TD-SCDMA. I have couple of old blog posts on this topic you will enjoy. They should answer your questions too. blog.3g4g.co.uk/2009/09/td-scdma-tdd-and-fdd.html and blog.3g4g.co.uk/2010/01/technologies-and-standards-for-td-scdma.html
Thanks!
