I've seen many auctions in my lifetime, but the collector car ones somewhat puzzle me. First, why are so many being sold? Isn't one of the reasons to own a collectible is that it appreciates in value? And why do so many of these classics have reserve prices on them? Why can't the owners sell them privately instead of paying all the fees associated with an auction? I believe auctions should not allow reserve prices. I mean, the goal is to sell your car, isn't it? Reserve prices are for the most part, too high because so many don't sell. The owners, besides getting the car to the location, still pay a fee to enter it. Wouldn't it be nice to see a collector car auction with no reserve prices? I think so.
Love those vw things. Good prices sure to increase in the future
Selling reproduction car signs doesn't make sense with a classic car auction - all in poor taste. All junk

Quit selling junk at the beginning
It's not junk. Not every one is rich as you.
