Very nice update Rob! I love the back story on the Alco! When I did my yard, I painted the plywood brown (yes, I used plywood) and then applied the cinder ballast after the track was in place. It looks fine, so I don't see any need to paint the foam black. I can text you photos if you would like to see them.
@@johnlazar7582 I went with all brown paint in Luther Yard and it looked fine so I trust your advice. Brown it is. Thanks John and you can always text me photos.
I have been watching your videos and enjoying your progress. Everything is looking really good. And more important.. you are having fun. And the best part of this video ...... A hot bag of ASS ..... i LOVED THAT 😀
Rob painted it then do the center line with, split your roadbed cork and take a black marker and color the flat sides when you put the roadbed down your center line is on the cork

The phrase "hot bag of ass" is a new one on me, I like it. I've always wondered what an Alco C-620 would look like.

Looks good. I think brown will work. You can always drop more dirt or oil spills on top of brown.
@@nyg21bd I believe you are correct. Thank you.
Don’t know if the ALCO story is real or made up for the diesel…but, it’s a good one😂😂…layout is gonna be amazing…
@@georgiasunbelt the story is true but alco never built the C624 and went straight to the C628.
