So beautiful. The hands and legs are so intricate. I am so glad this work defies the silly gender role dichotomy in the classical ballet. Bravo 🕺🕺👏👏❤️❤️
Senza parole..... Una sola, perfezione, emozionante, brividi al infinito è un onore ad acostarvi e osservare le vostre forme che intersecano con l anima.
A new reading of "Swan Lake". Rothbart is a transgender who hunts princes. At the ball she performs as Odile, performing an insert number to the music of Saint-Saëns with Siegfried. That is why this ballet is a tragedy, where all the main characters die in the swamp.
It’s beautiful, but I find the whole piece perplexing, from the overly athletic movement to the costuming. Are the red stripes a nod to a swan beak? I am a complete rube when it comes to ballet, but, aside from the presence of two male dancers, I am just not seeing it.
I agree with Lazlo. This is pure kitsch. Meaningless emotional steps. At least it’s not watching a man manipulate a woman. But I find this so old school. Sure one can make steps but as Forsythe’ and Pina taught me. Steps me nothing. All I think is Poor Dance. And even sadder when artists can’t take Critism. And just take the applause. Poor Dance. Has no future. Only a past

Absolutely exquisite! My favorite choreography of The Swan, ever. I can't get enough of this!!
Perfection. The musicality, synchronicity, attention to detail.. just beautiful. Thank you.

There is something rather strange about this, this is normally a dance that would be done between male and female. However, it is amazingly beautiful.

This is only an expression of beauty, pure and simple. Does not need a story line.
It works! 👏🏻
@@stinald Well…that’s why there’s chocolate and vanilla. Cheers!
I really, really like Derek Dunn...but this is sentimental kitsch.
Finally someone that agrees. The work is so banal and meaningless. A real proof the decline of the dance world and no idea what art is.
how is it kitsch. Because it is between two men?

Way to bring down the mood.
Was just adding on. They sure dance well though
@@toeknee1965 Nice try, but I don't think it saved you. If this is "kitsch", isn't ALL tragic ballet "kitsch"?
@@richardcleveland8549 no or maybe ?
@@toeknee1965 "no or maybe?" "old school"? Exactly WHAT point are you trying to make? Do you even LIKE ballet?
Two great dancers......but what they do is overly artistic kitsch
