Thanks for the video, my 81 c3 started giving me issues with the center gauge cluster. The temp gauge is one of the few giving me issues. Going to try this out
76 C3. My temp gauge works but bounces all over the place. Itll pause for a second on the correct temp, then start bouncing everwhere again. Not sure if its the actual gauge or something is grounding or what. Car sat for 21 yrs. I pulled the motor to refreshen everthing up. My father owned the car before me and he said it worked fine before. I checked the connectiin at the sensor and it all looks fine. Not sure where to go from this point.
Very simple: You have a loose connection at the sender, a frayed wire from the sender to the gauge or a loose connection at or inside the gauge. Use a multimeter or test light to isolate where the bad connection is.
