This is something I found out when I lived in Germany. Educated jobs have a much better pay than Germany. Germany does a better job paying minimum wage jobs (McDonald's, Burger King, waiter, cashier, salesman, etc). California does pay the most which is $105,220, but you have to remember California is 3rd most expensive state to live in the US. Alaska is the 2nd most paid state. The only reason for this is because no one wants to live in flipping Alaska. Its difficult to be a police officer in Alaska. It takes a lot of small airplane travel, snowmobile travel, and boat travel.

This is something I found out when I lived in Germany. Educated jobs have a much better pay than Germany. Germany does a better job paying minimum wage jobs (McDonald's, Burger King, waiter, cashier, salesman, etc). California does pay the most which is $105,220, but you have to remember California is 3rd most expensive state to live in the US. Alaska is the 2nd most paid state. The only reason for this is because no one wants to live in flipping Alaska. Its difficult to be a police officer in Alaska. It takes a lot of small airplane travel, snowmobile travel, and boat travel.
