I honestly feel like he's a better mid laner than bot laner. He does so much better in 1v1 duels than 2v2. He's my highest win rate mid this season.

12:50 what most people don't realize is that when both are fed, the assassin has the advantage, as oneshoting people with more items than you should have at your level is much easier.
so they can really start to snowball. obviously there are also mages that can start to oneshot people when fed enough, but avoiding a mage or adc is also easier than avoiding an akali jumping on you. at least that's my oppinion.

I have a friend who's been learning Jhin mid, do you have any advice for them? They're kind of new to the game so likely anything would be helpful. I don't play jhin myself so can't help much.
Honestly? If they are learning Jhin mid, and they're new to both jhin and mid, then the advice is to only play Jhin for a while. That will allow them to get mechanically proficient at Jhin and not have to think about Jhin, then they can focus on learning the fundamentals of mid lane.
The important thing for a beginner isnt to know champions. It is to know at least 1 champion just good enough that it does not get in the way of learning whatever lane they are playing in.
For mid, the big things are learning to identify wave states, getting good at farming, and learning when you can and cannot roam to objectives.
Don’t play jhin mid
If someone is newer to the game they don’t need specific character tips outside of the basic way to play the champion, much more important to teach them fundamentals and nuances of the lane/game itself
If they are new to the game I don't think Jhin is a great champ for them to start learning first tbh.
there's a guide from happychimnienoises (not sure I wrote this right?) about a challenger Jhin mid. Could be helpful

@@trolltroll4557 cope, nemesis legit pings the moment they disappear in fog and if one gets by him he claims ownership since its his laner. Any LCS game is filled with pings pekin just acts like his pings shouldn't be required because people are supposed to check his lane for him and play accordingly, especially when he gets to base for free.
I'm glad my toxic trait is just not pinging and being upset about roams. There's people who almost exclusively Smurf in low elo. There's people slurring out here. I'm doing quite well if people are getting upset over missing pings lmao
