Fun… I watched one video where a guy hooked a piece of bacon on the fishing line and kept bringing crawdads in on his fishing pole hanging on the bacon……. Nice little pond…
Is there any ways to tell if there is crawdads in your stream because my friend found a claw in the sand before so would that mean to put a trap there?
I simply cut holes a little larger than a silver dollar on each end and push the wiring inside. When you pull them up, i have had a few fall out but for a few dollars a piece the traps worked great!
@squamishfish We have the same signal crawfish down here in Big bear lake southern California, They can can to about 6-7" here, These will definitely work ,beats paying $16.00 for a frabill trap
This looks fun. Unfortunately in my dumb ass State you can't let your single trap soak overnight and you have to cut the heads off the crayfish while fishing.
This worked so well!!!! All from the Dollar Store. THANK YOU!
Show how you made the trap
Oh heck yeah! Going to the dollar store right now lol
We NEED to see how you made the trap for us beginners
The hole on the trap is too wide if you make it smaller and make the hole funnel towards the middle of the trap it will work better
Cool...😂❤
I will always stand by the classic all-beef hot dog wiener as the best crayfish bait.
Its a good one for sure!!

Latios_ Caz probably! If there is sign of a crawdad like a claw, probably means that raccoons are feeding at night. I’d throw a trap there for sure!
Boondock Patrol thanks man and I have a little stream behind my houses should throw in in the deep pools or the moving stream
@@latios_caz314 Try both
Such great content 👏 loving it looking forward to new videos
Jim Halpert thx!
A hand full of dry dog food works really good.
Good idea! I’ve never tried that.
How did you create the entrance into the baskets so they can not escape?
