Paul: PSU hasn't played anyone. Checks Notes: ND plays service academy's and lost to NIU. I don't have an issue saying "I think ND is the better team' but discrediting Penn State as your argument as to why ND will win is disingenuous and wrong. Look at the numbers Penn State, has more YPG and YPGA against a much stronger strength of schedule. PSU has more high level recruits 3-5 star players on roster than ND. If you wanna pick ND, that's fine but again let's not make it out like PSU should be just happy to be here. Give them the appropriate credit for winning games as we've seen that's hard to do as evidence by your precious Alabama losing 3x as double digit favorites.
Georgia did not "make it to the quarter finals". Stop gaslighting us Paul. They were given a bye, and then promptly lost that game. They won exactly zero games in the playoffs.
Texas is going to get blown out. ND hasn’t beaten anyone either so Penn St. vs ND is a toss up. No the four remaining teams aren’t the four best teams this year I think Oregon would beat Texas, ND, and Penn St. Ohio St. has already beat down the best team they will see.
Big 10 people need to realize that the exception doesn't make the rule. Getting your jollies off on a one-off year - this has occurred once in the past 24 years. Makes for exciting talking points for the media, I guess.
It’s an inflection point. How was the 20 years prior to the 2000’s. Heck go back even further when northern teams were willing to recruit and play black players but the southern teams would not. There is much more money in the North, NIL this a thing.
@@Andy-AJC72 The South in general has ruled football for the last 50 years, if you consider that along with the SEC, Texas, OU, Clemson and FSU are also in the Southern half of the U.S.. Sure the North has Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Penn State. But that's about it. Plenty of Big time SEC powers have plenty of money i.e. Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Texas etc. However i will agree with you on one point, the majority of Football talent comes from the South. And with the NIL money and transfer portal big time SEC schools can no longer just stockpile all the talent on their Rosters. The BIG 10 will come in and get plenty of the talent from the South as well.
@@Andy-AJC72 I'm not so sure it's an inflection point. You look at any period of time on an axis and se a minor deviation - can that be called an inflection point. All I'm saying is that it is premature. Not saying that the field won't be level in the future. Not saying the Big 10 won't do better. Also, you all seem to think that this trend of spending all you want for players is sustainable. If people want to treat this as a league, then it eventually will be treated as such. There will be salary caps as in the NFL. Mark my words on this. I would rather go back to the old way of things personally. More fun and traditional to me but whatever.
And to clarify.. I'm not a SEC homer. Grew up liking Michigan, Notre Dame, FSU and UT. I'm a bit of a mixed bag. I just happen to like the Vols more than the others. I just see reality for what it is. I also believe this current trend is not sustainable. Any credible "league" or "profession" cannot be treated as the wild west if it wants to be taken as a serious entity for long. I told my friend years ago about this. There will be caps on how much a team can spend and the number of starred recruits they can acquire (by hierarchy). I don't want it this way.. the commissioners do. Even if they can't see it.

Bama Dynasties are over, but there’s still going to be top teams, there will just be more of them…like the NFL.
Blah blah blah from the old shriveled up SEC elephant
Should be only 8 teams
Georgia did not "make it to the quarter finals". Stop gaslighting us Paul. They were given a bye, and then promptly lost that game. They won exactly zero games in the playoffs.
Not rocket science. Spend more money than the other guy. Money talks period.
Even if they can't see it.
pauls "quality" georgia team (and sec team tennessee) lost by more points in their games than the indiana team he thinks didn't belong in the playoffs.
The SEC can't keep beating up on each other week in week out and go 16-17 games. The Big 10 is about to learn this as well.
They could never play a SEC schedule and make it to the playoffs. You think OSU wouldn't have 3 or more loses if they played Georgias schedule. Beware. Everyone is saying the DAWGS were average this year SO we see an average team almost win it all while another team that’s still in the playoff got beat twice by the DAWGS this year. Wake up. All these people saying the SEC is dead. KEEP WISHING AND DREAMING
The big 10 play 9 conference games... and ohio state mopped the floor with Tennessee. Michigan spanked bama. I think the sec should stop being soft and start scheduling real ooc games.
Alot of good teams lost to B10 schools😂
When has Paul been objective about the sec? And there are not a lot of good teams. There are a couple and they got smoked.
Finebomb, oh yee of little faith. Remember USC was the biggest juggernaut until Vince Young's Texas shut them up.
Texas barely won on a last second walk off touchdown. Don’t act like it was a blow out or something
@@Mzbbxhfbfnsx A win is a win. Where did I say it was a blow out?
Ya think?
Texas should not have won. The referees gave Texas the win.
Sec was never that good
Worst Michigan team in 10 yrs beat OSU best 😂😂😂
Thank you Michigan! Ohio State had to play their worst game in school history for you to win and it woke them up to the fact that any garbage team can beat you if your not tuned in and eat the rat poison. So thank you Michigan you woke up a sleeping giant!
@@KendraPitchingand fishigan cheated

texas hasnt played anyone lol and at least won hahahahah
🤓 mediocre Big ten the SEC tide is rolling 🤓
The narrative that the SEC was the only conference paying players before NIL needs to stop 😂 Everybody lost to the SEC and now it’s over. Big10 finally wins and everyone is going crazy. I didn’t realize folks hated the SEC like that 😂
If you didn't know this clip was about football, you still wouldn't know after viewing it. These 2 clowns don't know anything about actual football. Watch it again, they could be talking about baseball, soccer or tiddlywinks.
