Mad respect for keyboardist getting in his steps for his fitbit
I was like get it I guess Flake.
He took a page out of DEVO’s playbook- they used to play live wearing yellow raincoats on treadmills. It never gets old.
love seeing that on every video by rammstein
@@pez7031 yes yes yes yes . That was my first thought
@@pez7031 And OK Go. But only in the video.
I was there. This video does NOTHING to show how loud and crazy that crowd was. Remember this was the first time in over a decade Rammstein performed in America. And we didn’t know if they were gonna come back after. Everyone in MSG was under the assumption this could be a One time deal. We were screaming the lyrics so loud Til didn’t know what to do and looked back at the band like “WTF do I do???” I’ll NEVER forget that look back. This video doesn’t show it which is mind blowing to me.
you can see the absolute frenzy the crowd was in, and it's awesome. You can tell everyone was in an almost nirvana-like state and totally escaping their own personal lives & problems that night. I wish i could have been there.
This was back when music was GOOD!!!!! I was a freshman in high school when this song came out. I love the vibe i got from the song even tho it wasnt in english i wish i had been there!!!!!
@@Oceanmysticangelmusic still is good you just gotta look harder. It's not topping the charts but it's still being made

Well this song is pretty much impossible NOT to be in sync with lol
Anyone who can’t get in sync with a beat like that must be dead.
it’s Deutsch :)
It's gotta be an amazing feeling being in America as a German band and have the whole crowd sing your song in your language. Now this is common when American bands tour countries such as Brazil, Japan, Mexico, yet they still can sing the English lyrics. But it is not very common here in the states and I just think that's so amazing for a band to experience. Been a fan since the 5th grade when rammstein first came about in the 🇺🇸 in 97 with Du Hast on mtv.

Awesome comment, mate. I’ve been a fan since stumbling upon these guys in high school in 1998.
@Menkent Dk yeah man me too, everyone in school was talking about them. Everyone was singing du du hast du hast mich in class. 😂
These dudes are in such good shape that they might be playing these shows when they’re in their 90s. Amazing band and incredible longevity.
Yep! Lead singer is a fit guy, they all are. I saw Quiet Riot in July all the guys in the band were fit! 🤗

Most recognizable tune ever!
This is so strange, a German band singing in German and yet its American audience fully understanding the lyric of this song, wow!
The power of Music
@Dong Zhuo And yet the wonder of the English language is that it took thousands and thousands of words from French and Latin, so unlike German now English is a language of great precision.

It's over 25 years old.

Mad respect to the dude that runs on the treadmill while playing the keyboards,,, I had to do 5 minutes at a doctor's appointment a few months ago and it damn near killed me!
Lol
El grupo que puso a cantar en alemán a todo el mundo!
Абсолютно!
Estoy estudiando alemán por qué me gusta la banda y también su cultura
Exacto.. lo aleman siempre trasciende
This riff just never gets old, like ever
I was introduced to RAMMSTEIN in the late 90s. I'm happy to see all the young faces in the crowd. We older folk are counting on you to carry metal into the future!
HEY! who you callin OLD. Ok fine, I am old.
Old? me?😂😂 Just because I remember when Rob Halford had hair doesn't mean I don't appreciate more modern bands. Rammstein and Ghost are my favourite bands of the last twenty years. 🤘🤘🤘
Metal and rock will never die
Shit at 59, I LOVE metal. Uriah Heep is the dream. Saw Ghost with Iron Maiden in 2017.
I was 12 or 13 at that time. One time I go records store buying their Mutter CD, and the guy there looks so surprised oh wow you know this band. 😂😂
The guy on keys walking a treadmill at a fast pace is one of the coolest visuals. Fits so well with his look.
Glad they can sing in their language and that everybody digs it. Also glad that dude can rock and do some cardio.☺
Nothing wrong doing the treadmill while doing the keyboards
@@norms3913 ZZ Top used treadmills in 1991 at the Milton Keynes bowl. Must have been difficult and taken practice.
I would never think in my life that I could love a band singing in German! They are just so perfect!
English has largely evolved from the German language. Do you know that?

I was at first petrified. I was there. Stunned by the crowd singing in german. Excellent!
What I can understand when Till is not singing yet, even sounds like from a German crowd, no American accent!
These guys are one of the greats I don't care what anyone says great music and they've had the same lineup!! Fucking awesome
Da kommen einem echt die Tränen! Zu geil...
the keyboarder must be somwhere from a different planet either travelling by hitchhiking or teleporting. his kraftwerk like style and sound plays a major part... pure awesomeness
when the twin towers felt he just took a plane back to germany and the other band members asked themselves were might he be??

I remember when this song came out. I saw the music video and was like “hey that’s a cool song”. No idea it would become
What it has. 20 years later it’s still getting stadiums to scream the lyrics.
Their first album (Herzeleid) came out in late 94 or early 95 and it made a buzz in the underground music scene in the USA very quickly. Especially in the ATL as it was getting amped up for the Olympics! When their music was played at a party everybody took notice and asked... "Who is that?"
Очень сценичные ребята. Невозможно отвести взгляд. Клавишнику отдельный респект.
Был в 2019 и в 2022 на их концертах. Это невероятно круто!
Decades later this song still rocks
What an amazing band, they still kick asses
The new album is amazing too. 😍🤘🏻

Hell, I can barely walk and chew gum at the same time.
I was fortunate enough to see them back in 2012 in Phoenix. Again later this year in Mexico city. I love this band.
I’m totally new to Rammstein- never heard them before never bothered. Christ they’re f@@king brilliant. Stunning performance
They are the best band with the best music, videos and live shows in the world. You see, I'm from the '60s generation and I'm almost 70. I've seen everything that's exceptional, namely live: Beatles; Stones; U2; Metallica; Yes; Procol Harum; Genesis. Of the Germans, whose rock I greatly admire, I saw live Kraftwerk, Popol Vuh, Tangerine Dream. But these, the Rammstein, are much better, especially live. Everything, but everything is ecstasy. No more words. I've seen them twice and I would see them a thousand times if i could. It's pure art. In every aspect of art.
The Wall.
Honestly, with your experience I truly believe you then
My 6 years of German comes in handy when I am listening to Rammstein. Amazing band with deep lyrics. I really like their new album.

A band that sings its songs in German and can sell out Madison Square Garden... only RAMMSTEIN
So true, what I like is that they pack Madison Square Garden but most people in the general population probably haven't heard of them 😁
Right!!!
madison square garden has hosted so many wonderful and powerful german related events long time ago 😋
Saw them live at Jones Beach. This song is even more amazing with the pyrotechnics
That keyboard player is a master of time management - not enough time to both play a stadium and go to the gym, so why not just bring a treadmill to the show? I hope he wore a fitbit too to keep track of how many steps he took. Legendary
Flake has said that he does this because he gets board if he's just playing the Synth
Rush used to play on stage and do their laundry at the same time...

Everyone suddenly knows how to speak German when at a Rammstein concert. Can't wait to speak some in August when see them.
saw rammstein 2 days ago in zurich! jesus, its the best live show ever! its amazing how rammstein have become one of the most respected bands in the world. i think theyre in the same league with metallica right now
I don't know where to find some answer to my question, maybe here is some good soul who will take time to answer me :
I believed Rammstein was some satanic group. By satanic, I am meaning against Jesus Christ, our God.
I already saw a lot of concerts from them and there are some parts representing very "bad things"...
People will understand what I am talking about, no need to make a paint.
And at the end of this song, the singer signs himself (sign of cross).
Is it some kidding or "irony" ?
Or I missed something ?
Thanks for your lights about it.
@@tototata2134 I think he crosses himself because he was grateful for the audience, even though he said before he was an atheist. Rammstein has always loved to provoke whether it's their lyrics, videos or stage shows, but I never saw them directly mocking any religion.
There shows are second to none!
This show was spectacular!
I envy everyone that saw this concert, rock at its finest
I saw these guys in Grand Rapids Michigan in 2001 at a large nightclub called The Orbit Room and was in the front so close to them performing on a small stage that when Till took a drink out of his water bottle and sprayed out, my sister and I got it all over our face 😂😂 I watch this video and think DAMN am I lucky I have that Rammstein memory!
