    Great Advice for a clean uncluttered mix!
    To Reset the P16M. First, select which preset you would like to restore to factory settings. To do this press and hold the RECALL button followed by pressing the CHANNEL SELECT button containing the desired preset. Now, simultaneously press and hold the RECALL and STORE push buttons. The MUTE button will now flash. Press and hold the MUTE button to confirm. All of the settings for that individual preset are now erased.

    One thing to check if your overall volume is low.. hit the Main switch and adjust the Volume knob (not the Level!). Not a very well documented feature, but the Main button acts like any other channel for the Volume and EQ controls.

    I'm the bassist in my church. This is very good advice about reducing the bass for the vocals! I will also try this for the keyboards too. The issue that I'm having is , I hear a hiss that gets louder when I increase the main volume. Any advice will be appreciated.

    Thanks, brother! Appreciate the video very much. Our ministry team here at Berean Spokane has benefited from both of your vids on the PM16s.

    There is a button combo that re-sets the unit values, that's much better/faster than going trough all 16 buttons, because, you need to re-set the EQ also.

    Great vid man!! But I have a question; what happens when power is lost (because instruments are moved) and plugged in again? Are the presets still there or are they gone?

      Couple things, you should save often. You can do this by pressing the “Store” button on the upper left corner and then pressing 1 of the 16 channels on the bottom. You can save 16 different mixes on the P16-M. If the power goes out, all you have to do once the power is restored is to press the “Recall” button on the upper left corner and then the channel you have saved the mix to.

    How would I send a 100% wet signal from a reverb or delay to a P16-M so the singer can control the amount of verb or DDL they hear on their headphone mix?

    • @WordEenLama
      @WordEenLama 4 роки тому +3

      One option is: you send the effects to a mixbus in the X32 (and choose "sends on fader" to send the mic of this singer to that mixbus). That way this mixbus has only the reverb (or whatever effect you choose) from the singer. What you can do then, is sacrifise one of the 16 channels of the P16M by sending this (effect)mixbus to that channel on the P16m. So the singer can controll the reverb (or other effects) exclusively with that channel on his P16m. Does that answer your question?

    You can save your mix. press and hold store then double tap one of the 16channles. Your mix will be saved to that channel.

    Your limiter is set all the way to 100%. This is a safety feature! Please set it properly so you can hear the rest of your life!

    Great vid sir!! Im having a really big issue that maybe u can help me with!! My church just recently got this unit and everything is great except bass guitar!! I need more gain without distortion in my ears. We r running this on an analog board, is there any out board gear i can use to boost the bass signal without distortion. I tried running compressors on it but it didn't boost the signal a lot and still was distorting. Please help!!

      Check the gain on the mixer for the bass

      I wonder if turning everything else down would help? Less is more. Also, I am a Bass player and I benefit from an EQ pedal. I use it as a boost pedal and not as an EQ with all the EQ settings to "0" and bring up the level.

      @@dtworzguitar5775 This would effect the FOH as well.

    I have 1-p16i and 6-p16m with 300 ft of cat5. The first p16m has great sound and powers up via cat 5 the next 5 don’t power up . I have to power them individually. The first 5 have signal but the last one no signal. One 300 ft long cat5 cable, 5 -10ft long jumper cat5 cables. What’s my problem? What do I need? POi cat 5 extender, or p16D?

      We have a bandleader mic and it is routed to the P16s and that is it. I am pretty new to this board, but the only difference I could see is that the bandleader mic is not included in any of the DCA that are mixed to the mains. Hope this helps if you haven't already figured it out.
