    Ha! You answered a very important question that I have been dealing with regarding the EQ of individual channels. You clearly showed in your video how to "find" the actual EQ setting on each channel by turning the knob for each setting until the light ring lights up. THAT is the one detail that I was missing. Thank you!

      You can EQ the whole mix by selecting the Main button and then adjusting the three bands (low, mid, and high)

      @@ollitrop46 Yes! After I viewed your video two years ago, I discovered this adjustment on the MAIN. Appreciate it! This was a big help to me!

    The panning is good advice that I'm going to use to help clear up my bass mix.

    Ahhh THANKS A LOT!!!!!
    Hey one question, can I use the R & L outputs to connect my 4.4mm balanced IEMs? Or should I just stick with the phones output for all IEMs?

    Very informative and well done. It is also important to explain that the master input volume (gain), which is located right on top of channel 1, should be set pretty high to get the most out of the P16M

    Great video. Will be trying some of these techniques. I play guitar, and it sounds thin and brittle coming through my in ears. I'm hoping adjusting the limiter will help normally run it at 12 o'clock any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

    Wait...are you saying I can adjust each channel individually with the knobs? So if I click on a channel, and adjust the bass (or whichever) it will adjust for only that particular channel? I thought when I turned a knob it adjusted for the entire mix. If this is so it's a game changer.

    if i have may be 24 inputs on my mixer, am i limited to only 16 channel mix on the p16? if no how do i get to mix the whole 24 channels with the p16?

    • @zehle
      @zehle 5 років тому +2

      As far as I know the p16 is limited to 16 channels. What you can do is send a bunch of channels to a bus and let the bus be a channel on the p16. You won't be able to set the volume for those individual channels, but you'll at least get the channels in your ears. :)

    Great video thanks. You left out when panning the channels it works really well with in ear monitors or ear buds, when used with floor wedges it doesn't do anything.

    does the p16 bring in fx, comp, and gates.

    • @bryceb8331
      @bryceb8331 6 років тому

      Actually yes it can - you just have to assign a channel to fx return. Like for example if you want reverb on your vocal channels. You go to the Ultranet settings in your mixer, assign the FX return to a channel (for example channel 16). Then on your P16 you can dial up or down the volume of that FX return. But keep in mind if you have more than one channel assigned to your FX bus (like several vocal channels) - you will be dialing up and down the FX volume for all of those channels in your ears.
