This was actually an israely series that was realy successful and this is the american version

So he dates and stings a woman along for 5 years and still isn't sure he wants to marry her but then all the sudden meets a rich celebrity and it's "true love"... bullshit. They'll try to make the ex seem crazy, but won't have a legitimate reason for why he stayed with her for 5 years if she was crazy. But we are supposed to root for this new love? Yeah right.

But you know what the best way to handle that was? Do not drag someone along when everyone and their dog is telling u ur girl wants u to propose and if said girl is daft enough to propose, then accept it then break it off in private.
I was wondering the same. Even his family knew that she wanted to get married. If he didn't want that he should have broken up with her way before it got to the point where she decided to propose.

and him rejecting is a problem why exacly? So many fucking comments about him humilating or reject - since when its forbidden to say no - its alarming to see how many people are upset over that on a freaking cheesy tv show
The first 10 seconds they talk about how her and her boyfriend just broke up. No mention of what happened but it's possible something similar happened to her and she knew how he felt and she wanted someone to talk with that knows how she felt. Plus it's not like he was an asshole about it and laughed in her face or insulted her. Obviously he didn't expect her to draw attention to them and do that so what should he have done? Looks like he froze, and considering what happened i can understand that. Yes everyone knew she wanted to get married but doesn't mean they expected her do do that.

That's like saying Jane The Virgin gives away the entire show just because a trailer showed her getting pregnant but being a virgin. Other things do happen in shows beside the stuff in the trailer. That said I have my reservations that it'll be a good show.

This is a newer version of the Israeli comedy drama of the same name which ran from 2013 to 2017. It only lasted 2 seasons but it was an amazing show. I CAN NOT wait to see how this one plays out.
I might watch this show only for Nat. I've missed seeing her on tv and I'm glad she's back after Dynasty did her dirty.

Shelly Bee in the original version (israeli) she was really obsessive and jealous. He’s kinda poor and she asked him to buy her lots of things and take her to fancy restaurant and honestly you could see that she was a bit crazy and he just felt it wasn’t right for them to get married and she wouldn’t back down from the idea so eventually he just had to reject her twice I think.. but this version doesn’t seem to show all the original details so I guess idk if it would succeed as much as the Israeli one, in Israel we really love this show

I love this premise. But what really got me, was the proposal at the beginning. Yo, like, whoa. . . That was fscked up, but also mad dope that she even made the attempt. Idunno about this show seems like a like a simple good time.
Statement here: I believe the reaction most of you are having towards this is the same reaction Jane the Virgin had when it was beginning. 🤔 Where did it end at? Not saying this is going to have the same out one as JTV, but you never know. It might even be bigger or not. Just give it a chance.😉
Apart from the Latino characters, this show is nothing like Jane the Virgin. The plot of this new series is incoherent and totally unoriginal. It won't last.

mamita, the cast may be a mixture of Dominican, Puerto Rican, & cuban actors, but they’re representing a Cuban family. And they’re doing a great job from what I can see imitating the Cuban accent and culture.
