if you take a look at the filmography of actors like Emma Roberts, Sebastian Stan, Nicole Kidman, Jai Courtney, Natalia Dyer, Lucy Hale and even Margot Robbie, they've all been in indie/low-budget movies after having big roles. mostly because they enjoy doing it and want to help out the people who were involved in the writing and production of the movie.
they don't care about how big the movie is, they just want to have fun while doing their job even if it's on a small project. actually, i think a lot of them prefer the smaller projects 'cause there's less pressure.

the trailer makes this movie look badly done, but this is actually one of the sweetest, most moving movies i’ve ever seen. as someone who’s had to see both of my parents in ambulances (at different times, and now both of them are okay thank the Lord), this movie meant a lot to me. beautifully done

You all are saying you want to see Jacob do something more serious? WATCH THIS MOVIE!!! It is based on a real story and the theme is a real issue. This was a special movie with a special meaning. Not just a teenage love movie. The end took an unexpected turn and it brought me to tears, truly made me realize not to ever take a day for granted because tomorrow is not guaranteed.

Why do the male love interests look like they're almost the same age but the female love interests look like they could be mother and daughter?
Think it's a bit refreshing to have a female love interest appear to be slightly older or the same age as a more mature male counterpart. Feels like a lot of films in the past stop cast woman after a certain age but don't have the same standard for men.

I just saw this movie and I cried cried cried. Because I’ve been waiting almost 4 years this this like the ending. When the families meet. Im a transplant patient I received a kidney and pancreas from my guardian angel. I’ve wrote letters and I finally got a response. I spoke to a family member through email. Then they just stop writing. I still email but I don’t get any response. Now I 2 years ago I got the second kidney. And I’ve been writing to the family but I haven’t got any response. I want that so bad. I want to know about my angels. That gave me a second chance of life. I pray for it.
I just finished watching the movie alone, it was a great movie with a lot of twists. I cried so many times and couldn't stop myself because it was so good and felt real. I will always remember this movie. Great actors! Bravo.

Just finished watching this movie. I am wrecked. I cannot remember the last time I cried this hard. Not little tears rolling down my cheek, full on sobbing. I registered as an organ donor many years ago at a young age. This movie reminded me that it was a great decision.

I watched it with my husband and he started not too interested (watching his cell at the same time lol) then he stopped using his cell to fully watch this movie by the end he said I did a great job picking this movie gives it a 10/10 and it was great 👍 so yes, it's beautiful ❤️🙏

Oh my God, I just finished this movie. I cried a lot and now I appreciate life more, every day is chance to love, breathe and live life to the fullest. Wonderful movie, I totally recommend to watch it and to look every moment as the greatest gift we have given. This movie meant a lot!

Imagine having a movie made about your son, friend och boyfriend's sickness and people are just making fun of it. Jacob and joey is the best pair ever. They got a high level of chemistry even after they broke up.. And they're trying to be a professional actor.. I adore the two of them. ..sad to know they broke up but that's life it is what it is.. Hope fully they will be friends again someday..

Because it is supposed to be based on real events, it cannot be a crazy Science-Fiction reason. So either they are the same persons, younger and older selves OR the "older" Guy who has the same issue like Jacobs Character has, is the Baby from them and it's a inherited thing, from Father to Son. These scenarios popped up in my mind. But i tend more to the second one.
The character of Jacob dies in this movie. And his organs are donated to others which saves 5 lives. So, the older man in this movie gets Jacob's lungs and is saved.
