This Documentary is made by Supriyo Mukherjee under the Banner of Bengalee Association, Bihar.
It describes the bond and affection Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore shared with Bihar and its people.
In this Documentary Supriyo Mukherjee has also defined the times and incidents of the Gurudev's Bihar Visits and many unknown incidents related to it.
Special Thanks is to Mr. Sunirmal Ghosh, General Secretary Bengalee Association Bihar, it has only been made possible with his motivation and support .
This Documentary features the interviews of Mr. Anjan Bhattacharya of Bhagalpur (Secretary Bangiya Sahitya Parishad Bhagalpur) , Smt. Manisha Dutta of Muzaffarpur (Vice President, Benalee Association Bihar, Muzaffarpur Unit) and Dr. Capt. Dilip Kr. Ghosh of Patna (President, Benalee Association Bihar).
In the documentary several instrumental rabindrasangeet music has been used as background music. These instrumental music were generated by Mr.Shubhayu, Mr. Brindaban Saha, Mr. Jayanta Dey, Lt. Mr. Paritosh Ghosh, Mr. Indradeep Mukherjee, Mr. Soumendu Bhattacharya, Ms. Maesha Marium, Mr. Priyom Mazumdar, Mr. Mainuddin Hasan Kaushal.
In this documentry one would get to know about in laws of Madhurilata Tagore ( Bela), Tagore's elder daughter, his younger son Samindranath' death. It gives some additional informations about the creation story of novel 'Naukadubi' and Gitanjali. It tells about the establishment of Bangiya Sahitya Parishad Bhagalpur sakha. It also gives some information about Hindi Bhavan of Santiniketan.
For further information Bengalee Association, Bihar is an age old organisation formed in 1938 by then Patna High Court Barrister Sri Priya Ranjan Das. This organisation represents 14 lakh Bengali Speaking people of Bihar. Currently it's president is Dr. Capt. Dilip Kr. Ghosh.
And it has been doing considerable works to hold the literary and cultural works of Bengalees of Bihar.
