I left iOS last October to go back to Android and was about to go back with the iPhone 16 release. Then I went and saw this in person. It's my first foldable device. I picked it up on release unlocked yesterday. I don't think I'll ever go back to iOS now.
I have just bought a Z Fold 6 after owning iPhone's for the last 4 years or so. I'm impressed so far. I do miss a few things, like FaceID, ecosystem integration and the polished nature of iOS but I have to admit, the hardware is excellent and the software features that take advantage of the phone are spot on. OneUI 7 is rumoured to have Live Activities and a version of Dynamic Island too.

Personally, I find Samsung Internet to be far superior to any other browser, including Chrome. Samsung Internet features an ad blocker, extensions, and on devices with Galaxy AI, it allows you to summarise the page. It also synchronises with Google Chrome on any computer-just install a simple extension. It's fast, user-friendly, and visually appealing. I see no reason to use another browser. Additionally, you can transfer all your bookmarks and history from Chrome to it. I can't recall exactly how to do it, as I've been using Samsung Internet exclusively for over four years, so...

@yangtroy1 the screens. Super compact when it's closed. 7 inch tablet when opened. Recently figured out how to scout with this camera and I officially don't miss anything my S22 Ultra could do. Taking is so fun on the bigger screen

Almost sold on these. Could you talk a bit about bumpers and covers and second skins for all these foldables? I might have to take the dog down a flight of concrete stairs when im half asleep, and it makes me uncomfortable with any fragile expensive devices. Conventional phones got there with a surrounding bumper, but are folding bumpers any good? Also, is this something where a large OEM can shine over a Chinese import where any skins and bumpers take three weeks to be shipped, and you never get the same one twice?

It's worth getting if you absolutely love GoodLock. Coming from a Oneplus Open, I couldn't stand having such a basic OS. It was a really good foldable, but horrible 'boring'. I bought a Fold6 and am not looking back. Plus the Slimmer cover screen fits my hands perfectly. Samsung's foldable are unbeatable simply because of OneUI being arguably the best OS for foldable. That being said, if you're someone who take selfie or pictures of everything... Get an S24 Ultra. The Fold6 is not for taking pictures.
Everyone reviewing these oay no attention to the gaming community and its the reason i havent ever got one. Not hard to install COD Warzone and do a 15 minute game. With Game Laucher open using tools showing framerate and Core load ect. If these were cars. These videos are like someone selling me a car talking about the paint job and wheels. But never pop the hood or show me it driving.
This is why Android is so much better than ISO garbage. You have settings and you don't have to just deal with what they tell you to do....but hey, at least iphone has a new camera, well maybe 2 more megapixels or whatever but it's still 2k and you fools will buy it no matter what.

The most important feature for me is the dark mode. No other browser has this mode working so well.

S series have been Samsung's flagship and premium phones after Note series but Z folds are taking over every single day. I prefer Samsung to iPhones
