サザンクロス(5.12c)とチリコンカーン(5.12b)を、トラバースでつなげた持久系リンクルート。リンクとはいっても、岩の形状に沿った極めて美しいラインで、むしろこの方が自然な感じがします。
初登時は、今のように長いドローを残置する習慣がなかったのでダブルロープで登るのが一般的でした。また、当時のシューズは硬くて後半の核心をこなしにくく、途中であえて、左足のシューズを脱ぎ捨て、裸足で登りました。それがルート名の由来になっています。　　-- 杉野保 --
