Using ML models in infectious diseases prediction with economical constraints

Predicting epidemiological spread and intervention policies control are highly dependent on how well we understand and model the pandemic. To this end, data-driven models are able to capture highly complex dynamics and investigate untrivial policies in a fast, cheap, and secure manner. In this talk, we discuss the latest developments in the field and provide an example that also takes economic constraints into account.
