- In a dramatic escalation of tensions, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched a fresh airstrike against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, targeting military structures and operational infrastructure. Concurrently, the IDF shelled areas near Alma Ash-Shab with artillery fire. Hezbollah responded by firing at least 30 rockets from southern Lebanon, showcasing their continued aggression in the region. Claiming a staggering 2,000 IDF soldiers killed in just 200 days of attacks, Hezbollah asserts its dominance with over 1,650 operations since October 7. The IDF, however, reports significant success in their counteroffensive, with over 4,700 Hezbollah positions struck and more than 330 terrorists neutralized, predominantly Hezbollah members. First, it is simply wrong to equate modern Israel with ancient Israel-they are two different things entirely. Ancient Israel was a theocratic monarchy in covenant with YHWH, a covenant centered on the Torah, the Law of Moses. Modern Israel, while making special provision for Jewish people !!
