This was so awesome! Thank you for showing us the how to.
    Three questions:
    1. Have you ever tried the iron on sheet paper?
    2. With your method, how long does the end product last? Could you do a spray over it to hold the image in the wood longer and maintain its quality?
    Thanks for the video!

@@ChrisPowellFSD you’re definitely not alone on this, I’d reckon that somewhere near 75% of “crafters” refer to it as Modge Podge. Anyway, thank you for a really concise demonstration of this technique! I’ve been faffing around trying to use a different technique for transferring a quote onto a decorative box, using liquid matte medium, regular printer paper and rubbing. Hence to say I suffered two epic fails resulting in having to repaint twice. I’ve now got my print ready to go on my new label paper; finger’s crossed on that 3rd times a charm thing, lol! Thanks again!

@@janedarc7731 I called it modge podge for a few weeks too when I was getting into trying to do transfers. funny because I'm somewhat of a stickler for pronunciation and using the correct word etc. It was funny when I realized I was saying it wrong after going to get some and reading the label. lol. Now its like nails on a chalkboard to me 😃
Great video! How a portable printer does not exist is beyond me. By that I mean something the size of a large lunchbox that you can place on any surface and print. Hell, the print head already moves side to side! now we just need y axis movement like on a laser engraver/cnc and we don't need to mess with this crappola that works fairly well pretty often and move to 99% perfect. And I just need lettering done. And the crazy thing is that you can get a laser engraver about the size I referenced for $100!! wth!

That’s something we all struggle with. Usually for items with a large material cost, people do around 3x materials and add in a percentage for their time. Sometimes I just have to ask myself what I would pay for something, then add in a little extra. If it doesn’t sell at that price, I lower it until I find what people are comfortable with paying, and I’m comfortable with selling at.
