- Well, this one didn't work out like I thought it would...I thought I'd get at least 2-3 videos out of it, and I barely got over 30 minutes! Pretty basic and easy build, not at fun as some of the others I've done, but I'd say it's defiantly a good kit for a beginner, everything is nice and sturdy and goes together nicely, I will note that after finishing it, I should have used the wax instead of the vaseline on this one, its out in the open and can get on your hands when using it.

Agreed, I thought it would be more interesting when I bought it, it looks sort of cool, but nothing special.
@@Dbuilderguy what I meant was, it doesnt look so easy, and if you didnt have an instruction leaflet....???? And nevertheless you had to retrace your steps sometimes.... Nevertheless, I found it cool and was grateful for your video. I have ordered two!! I thought I would spray someparts gold and others silver where the wood is not marked to give it a metallic look.
I have it also, it can only read dates between year 2018 to 2040....
I hope this isn't a silyl question. But i built this out and cant understand the days of the week for September and December. Am i doing something wrong? I dont understand the dots + lines either. I looked it up and found they represented numbers 1-14 but its not making sense 😅
I don't know, honestly I built it and put it away and haven't thought about it much since, I got it out to look at it for your question and I can't make heads or tails of it either. 😂
I just assembled mine and "programming" the dates is so funky. The locking mechanism for the year doesn't quite work well and spins while trying to set the month. *EDIT* ooh so the locking mechanism needs to click for it to work. I will try that thank you :)
Yeah, I did that too on one of my dials, I didn’t feel like going back to fix it though. The ones that do click have a very satisfying “clunk” I think.
Yeah! I went from there wax to Bees Wax from Amazon!
I haven’t tried that, I’ve converted to wood lube now, I’m pretty sure it’s just rebranded Vaseline though.
You did not explain how you knew how it went together
I just followed the included instructions.
Can we make this with cardboard
I don’t know, I would think there is probably a kit for that though.
