Cute Fun Secret Rhythm Book Nook Build-Steps 59-END
I picked this one up at the same time I did the Flame Common Room, they are by the same company, so I am hoping it will be of similar quality.
Here's the link if you're interested, but as always compare prices because there is a huge variety of prices on these kits:

    Do you know why any record I play is too slow? It makes no difference what speed wheel I have installed.

    • @Dbuilderguy
      @Dbuilderguy 2 дні тому

      I don’t know, mine always seems to go at a pretty constant speed if I’m spinning the handle fast enough. 🤔

    • @BrettMorris-fl7gg
      @BrettMorris-fl7gg 2 дні тому

      @I’m turning the handle pretty fast and I’ve connected it to power which really helps. It’s actually playing at a constant speed, but unfortunately that constant speed is too slow for the speed wheel. 45 is playing at about 33 rpm, and 33 is spinning at about 20 rpm. Just hoping I won’t have to pull the whole thing to pieces to find the problem.

      Yeah, not as exciting as the first pendulum clock I did, on this one the clock is a separate battery powered unit, and the pendulum and gears are actually just for a countdown timer. I think that will make it more useful at least, just a lot of work for a little quartz clock. 😂

    • @Dbuilderguy
      @Dbuilderguy 6 днів тому

      I've been told the Vaseline is a bit on the sticky side, so I use it for the projects that are hand driven, if it's a spring then I use the wax. The vaseline seems smoother once it gets moving, but it takes more to get it moving.

    That front cab has lots of great detailing and it all fits nicely, joining the front and back really went smoothly, good quality kit

      I’ve been impressed so far, I’ll have to look into more kits from these folks.
