Hi, thanks for stopping by, I build things here: mainly little models, marble runs, and anything else that might fit in that category, or that just catches my eye, I post daily and I generally aim to keep my videos in the 45-60 minute range and hopefully they are informative as well as entertaining. Anyways, thanks for reading, feel free to leave a comment or question in any of the comments sections and I'll try and get back with you.
You’ll also occasionally see shorts featuring my pets, I think I’ll try to post these on Saturday, they aren’t trained or really do any tricks…but we still manage to have some fun, and look cute to boot.

Christmas DIY Book Nook-Final Day
It turns out this set comes from the same people that made the Cyberpunk book nook I did a while back, so I'm betting this one will be pretty complicated, hopefully I won't go too far past Christmas with it. 😂

Still Continuing the Christmas theme we have some bookends from Cutebee, it appears to be a lot of the same elements as the book nook from earlier, but I think we'll have a better view of them in this form...should be interesting. Here's the link if you're interested: a.co/d/9Xz7Ha4 At the time of publication it was on sale for $16.

Getting down to brass tacks on the Christmas builds now, I've still got two more after this one and I think it'll work out with almost perfect timing, the actual kit I bought for this one was sold out, but it also seems to be a kit that is sold by lots of companies (or drop shippers) so there is no short supply of them, here's the links to the cheapest versions I could find: share.temu.com/ld6f...

This parte was the hell to get
Excellent finish Daniel, the blue lights really look smart ,a lot of work but a great end result, happy new year to you and your family
Those lights are the epitome of a happy accident, I honestly didn't know there were different colors, they just happened to line up perfectly for me.
@Dbuilderguy 🤣🤣 happy accident, good old bob Ross
I didn't get glue included in my kit
This was worth all your hard work, it turned out great!
It's a little rough around the edges, but I really do like the final result.
Just finished 3 to 6 with your video. I couldn't do it without your great directions. Thanks
Just a suggestion, but after the glue is dried, you can reinforce the butt joint by overlaying a strip of paper with glue or tape straddling the two sides.
I've never tried that, but it's a great idea! I really could have used that tip about an hour and a half ago, I'll have to remember it for next time.
I gotta say, you are so much fun to watch. Even when you know your limits, you keep it moving. Can’t wait to see your 4k subscribers build!!
I try my best to stay positive, it's the only way to get through some of these projects! I do admit I cut a lot of corners on the last day of this build, I just knew it wasn't going to happen. 😂
No batteries needed for this little wonder
Getting that little dancing dude going was very satisfying!
Great video.. I opened my box looked at the instructions and just didn't understand it all. so your video helped. All done this step with you .Thank you😊
Great to hear! Thanks for watching!
R Duck, yeah!
Yeah, he's got quite a few that I want to pick up, I've already got my eye on one for the 5k build too. 😂
A nice 4k build might be another R. Duck build to compliment your Engine
I've had my eye on the caboose from them for a while, I think it would look good on the mantle.
New subscriber. So glad you are doing this one. I have it but may wait until I find storage for all of these kits( especially Christmas)😅 Love the tip using markers. I’m considering painting or staining the outside because the paper is an odd red/ pink color. What do you think? I am glad that it’s not too busy on the outside tho
Yeah, I'm not crazy about hat pink color for a Christmas build, seems too subdued.
It's coming on nicely Daniel, more small parts 😂,it's a lot of work but well worth it in the end
Indeed it is, just gotta keep on keeping on! 😂
Thanks for the video! I had a mistake on step 155. Thx
Thanks for watching! I'm glad it helped!
Great video. At 75 I needed a little help and this clicked the ticket. Thank you, it works beautifully.
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!
Where do you get this stuff
Mostly from Amazon, a few have been from Temu.
I don't know why it bothers me so much that the corrugated roofing is going the wrong way. I know why they designed it this way (visual texture) but it's no wonder that there is so much snow on the roofs.
I can see that, I honestly never thought about it...until now! 😂
Put one of those clamps on the back of B-7000 I love the snow on the floor all over it.
I've just started storing it nozzle down, it's almost empty, just gotta get to the last little bit.
That street lamp at the end made me laugh. I love the concept. I can’t wait to see the finished product. I am itching to see you do the Beyond Library Max. That would be a great 4k celebatory build! 🎉😊
I ended up having to pull it out last night, that's the first thing I tackle on tonight's video.
Do you ever wax tabs when you have a tight fit? Im so scared of snapping a small piece. You seem to pop them in with little issues..thanks..great video!!
I've never tried it, it might be helpful, I'm just used to the feel of those kits, but more than once I've broken them.
@Dbuilderguy your video of the piano has been so helpful. Those instructions can be a little odd at times
how did you do step 60?
I saw you got to step 155, so I'm guessing you got it figured out?
Thanks you helped a lot!
Thanks for watching!
That's the part I had problems with too but it does fit
There is no way I could have built this without these videos! Thanks very much for the guidance
Glad I could help!
37:37 that peice f15 pushes and bends the gears out of alignment for me and idk what to do to fix it. Everything up to that point went together easy enough so i dont think i did something wrong. It acts like the hole for the shaft is in the wrong spot also is the big gear supose to touch the smaller gear above it. The inner gears touch when shifted but when shifted the other way it doesnt
That area ends up being your transmission control lever, it was a bit loose with me too, I think it will get more stable as you go along.
Nice job! I’m doing this same thing, but at 16:35, you forgot to tighten the light strip!
That's a common mistake for me, I miss a lot of little things trying to concetrate on everything, thanks for the feedback!
@Dbuilderguy ofc! And thx for not taking it too harshly! The light part is very finicky. It’s annoying
I might be a little late but in my hill some pieces are jetting outwards and it’s not straight is there something I’m doing wrong here
It isn't a super smooth build, it does look a little "bumpy" but once it's all together it does a good job of creating the illusion.
Thank you for replying and the advice 🐢🐢🐢
I accidentally broke a piece on this step 😢
Wood glue is your friend, just do a nice dry fit to get the pieces together and just a little dab with a toothpick will usually do the trick! 👍
Without you building this and posting - my globe would stay in the box!! So thanks for making an enjoyable build.
I'm glad it helped, thanks for watching!
you forgot to add the steel rings on the inside of wooden ring
Someone else pointed that out earlier this week, I never could figure out where those things went. 😂
The tree is certainly well lit ,that snow is sticky stuff ,but looking good
I sure hope so. It occurred to me later that I never actually tested the lights. 🤞
I don't understand that wire peeler, doesn't seam to work well, maybe too thin wire?
I'm sure it is, that wire is so tiny!
You saved me from tears and frustration! Thank you!
I'm glad it helped, thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for your help! This was my first book nook and couldn’t have done it without this video!
Thanks for watching! That one is one of my favorites.
I know this is suuuuuper late, but thank you for helping me build this thing!!!
Better late than never!😂 Thanks for watching! I'm glad it helped.
Was it raining?
Probably at some point, that has been a while back. 😂
Hey so my gear that’s connected to three other ones won’t work properly, like they’re all coming up and moving and I have to force it to actually move, will that be a major issue?
If it's early on then should be okay, they have a tendency to walk out on you, as you go along there will be more guides put in to hold them steady.
Ok thanks
Get an emery board.
I did eventually move on to emory boards, later on, now I usually use a file instead, just so I don't wear it out.
Nice bit of progress today, snowman looks cool
Yep, they got my hopes up with those building the other day, now back down to the little fiddly guys. 😂
I just got this for Christmas yesterday and finished it today! One of my favorite projects yet!! Also thank you so much for the series it helped me with multiple things like colors and sides with specific print. 😁😁
I'm glad it helped, thanks for watching!
You must have lucky hands or some shit
Thank you, I'm incredibly intimidated by this puzzel but your videos will get me through this I'm sure!
It is a bit of a challenge, but it's a fun one! Just go slow and you'll get there.
love the video! makes it so much easier to build! just a quick question. what batteries do we need for the LEDS??
It takes the LR44 button batteries.
I don't get it why they make this models in motion. These are for display and not to run with all those gears. Beside they run ugly worst then a baby toy. They could use all those gears to make instead extra people/details etc.
I think it’s fun to make them move, even if it’s just for a few seconds, I love those clockwork mechanisms! 🤓
It’s not letting me go step 8
Can I just say this has helped me alot!!! Thank you so so much, I'm not very good at following instructions in a book but watching you made me enjoy it! I'll definitely watch the rest of your videos 😊also it was really easy following along to also, I like how you did it step by step 😊 it's my first time making one, I got it for Christmas 🎄
I'm glad it helped, thanks for watching! That one turned out much better than the first "corners" build I tried.
popsicle stick would work quite well, maybe a little white glue where you are going to put the snow would help it stay in place
Looking good now it's coming together, nicely built
I was so glad I finally got to install something in that box, it's just been sitting there mocking me this whole time! 😂
You learned to use the right hand because of this hobby or it's a natural occurrence?
I'm a little ambidextrous, I can't do everything right handed, but it's not as useless as most people's left hand is to them.
this is gonna be my next one, now im buildin kinda bumble bee garage \mechanic situation, i think official name is FIFIJOY Automobile Workshop DIY Book Nook Kit ,easy found on youtube, do u like it???
I really liked this one, it has a few extra features I haven't seen on another book nook, it's really unique.
