Hey hun just let you know the silver ware is Oneida with a long I not a long E it’s a city in upstate New York but your still amazing you can say what ever way you want lol
I think he does it on purpose. I've commented about it before and he is still mispronouncing it. Funny since a guy who grew up in CT should have at least heard of the Oneida Indians.
Lube shops will tell you that about all your fluids as a brake shop will always say you need new pads and rotors. That being said, your coolant will break down overtime and become less effective at dissipating heat and should be replaced.
@@mayakoyama9130 Well obviously… I was stating that it is a thing to replace the fluid because it will break down so it’s not necessarily a scam but they will always try and get you to change fluids you don’t need to yet.

You’re right. Orrefors glass is very good glass and collectors love it, but it’s clear glass and unless you have serious glass collectors on your channel it would be a hard to sell item. Sellers like CLL pick it up all the time but she has a lot of serious glass people on her channel. For this reason, you probably shouldn’t pick up clear glass, unless it’s Waterford, or Lalique. Which you wouldn’t have any trouble selling on eBay. I enjoy your channel Dave, lots of good info! ❤
I have been working on car for a living for54 years it don’t hurt to change antifreeze but you can do it at the covenant to your bank account. I have a pickup that has had same fluid in it for almost twenty years
If a dealer or mechanic ever tries to sell you on changing your air filter and cabin air filter, do it yourself. Probably around $20 in parts for both and very easy to change. I started doing it myself when a dealer charged me $75 to change one filter!
I'm guessing probably a 1970's sort of lamp. I remember a lot of those yellow plugs from then. But, it does have that 'cool' factor to it! Good job, Dave! 🙂
I enjoy your videos. You are likeable. Question: I buy golf club boxes from uline they come out to $2.50 per box. Do you have a cheaper recommendation or option?
I was wondering if rather than running your plush for next to nothing on what not what if you bundled them and sold as dogs toys, if that would work better. As long as they aren’t squeakers or things they can pull off and choke on that could work. Met a guy at a lawn sale this weekend that was buying a pile of plush for cheap for his dog! Thought of you!😂
Every time I bundle, I get messages that they just one this one piece... Does that mean all your kids were conceived around your birthday? Mercari is the best it's been other than maybe the first month I was on.
We took our subaru in for a recall on the condenser. They gave us a list of things they suggest we get done for $3300! No, hubby can do it all for probably $100
Regarding the Orrefors - Swedish maker - I think one issue with your candle holder is you were just selling one. Pairs go better but still not great. Orrefors glass tends to be heavy so high shipping. I have ADD too and 8 or 9 years ago I acquired a big tall pair of Orrefors sticks that were signed and they were selling for 200 to 300 but instead of listing them I concentrated on my 15 to 20 dollar items... Thats ADHD for you! Now they stare at me from a shlf in my garage!
If your honda is like mine they timing chain is interworked with the radiator. I didn't believe my local place at first and went home and did research. It was true so it's not a bad thing in this case.
Depending on mileage of your vehicle.....radiator flush is a real thing. Price seems about right since antifreeze is $15 a gallon. But anyhow, sucks to not expect it.
Radiator flush should cost around $200. Some places don't actually flush the system and just drain/replace the fluid. If they didn't do the proper flush then you got ripped off but I don't know how you would know without bluntly asking them and hope they don't lie to you.
And the guy at the oil change place up sold you. It’s his job to get more than just a standard oil change out of you. That’s how they get paid and some instances they actually get bonuses on what they can sell extra. It’s always you need an air filter. There’s two air filters on the car one air filter Unfortunately, this is what they do and I’m sure your coolant was fine.
Yep, Took mine for an oil change, the manager brings my air filter in and says I need a new one, x amount for the filter PLUS x amount to install it! If he said free I installation I probably would have bought a new one from him but since they took it upon themselves to remove mine I figured nah if they can put my old one back on for free I’m not about to pay them to put a new one on… oh and he also gave me a two and a half page printout of things it ‘desperately’ needed. I drove that old car for two years after that and never had an issue!
2 tires for 750 bucks if I remember right if that what what said seems way to much for 2 tires also. Should have been able to buy all 4 for that and then a spare too. 😬
Can’t eBay be used similarly to whatnot? If an item is worth $20 and you don’t want it sitting around all year can’t you price it at $10 and get rid of it quickly? I guess I’m curious as to which items a benefit on Whatnot is seen. Is this truely almost unsellable inventory? I get that you save the few minutes it takes to list the item. Yes, there is a chance the item still sits around a bit but if it doesn’t sell it can be trashed/donated and you won’t waste your time selling it for $2 on whatnot. (Auction, shipping, etc)
