      natural onyx player here, with less than 100 hours played. ( should show that i'm naturally good, and i don't practice.) been playing halo since i was 8 back when halo 1 came out. all advice is okay.. it's just not going to get you past Plat rank though. what makes you get further and deeper into higher ranks is spawning patterns. the idea is "if you know generally where all 4 of your opponents are on the map, without seeing them, you have a huge advantage" the only way to do this is keep track of the kill feed and all team player locations and at least 1-2 enemy opponent locations. Then you will be on a path to onyx, and this might sound crazy, but you don't need to have superior aim to play at onyx level. if you have great positional awareness, an understanding of map spawn rotations, and a little luck with decent team-mates ( if you are solo ) , you can win 100% of your games even if you are the least accurate on your team. Now before you think i'm talking you can win with 30 % acc. that is not what i'm saying, you want to be a minimum of 45% accuracy at diamond + ( my accuracy is always between 50-62% and thats including a heafty amount of pre-firing shots, p.s. you don't need to be as accurate as me. but if you are, you will get mvp every game even if you are on the losing team). if you are in the 30% range, then you def should work on aiming. but overall to be good at halo, it's not that difficult, just good positional awareness will get you to diamond and low onyx.

    I like doing a at objects that are one shot to warm up. I practice, right stick aim, then left stick aim, then aim with right stick while you straff only one direction, like running for cover, then i straff and aim. I single shot with these and spam shoot. This is most of the different versions of shooting you use during play. Then i do what you do with the bots and sometimes do the map warm up. You will start noticing during the game, the different ways you are shooting vs should shoot. Try it

    What is your FOV? A big thing people need to realize though is these bots just do not move like actual players will. Yes this will help you warm up but what is going to be the biggest factor is finding the best settings and FOV for you and your playstyle. A lot of people just copy Lucid or whoevers settings and think that it's going to make them pop off but I run into high plat and even some diamond players running the game on poverty build PC's or even Xbox and they're using 70-80 FOV and getting 70% accuracy and high kills consistently. The thing about infinite is that it is NOT a one size fits all game like past Halo games when it comes to settings and what not.

      After testing. The odst bot seems to have more movement. However, I only noticed more jumping and longer strafes. The bot was easier to hit than the spartan bot, imo, and since the accuracy of the bot is significantly lower, I didn't feel challenged.
      The spartan bot will 5 shot you. The ODST will take about 6-8 shots.
      However, how you warm up is your decision, and if the ODST gets you your demon aim... keep at it.

    This is both a wonderful way to practice, but also a showcase of how severe controller aim assist and bullet magnetism is... If you were using a mouse, a lot of your "headshots" would be misses. This game really does put M/KB on a disadvantage.

    My Halo Infinite doesn't have an option to switch analogue inputs, is it patched or bugged?
    Edit: Oh, you mean Southpaw. Not trying to sound mean or anything, but I should think this isn't really advice to improve the advised on gameplay but rather to deliberately worsen it to create a wider gap between those who have already mastered the game and those that simply want to improve. I'm not feeling Southpaw at all, I feel drunk. Not even sure how you track so well, I'm not convinced people who can are even human from the get go, more an alien with millions of fingers and an IQ of 9 trillion but sure that's just me, I'm kinda special if you know what I mean 😔

Can't look and find specific words in transcript on the UA-cam app, but you brought it up as though it was a better way of aiming. Maybe because of thumb positioning? I'm sure it was this video

    • @B1OChemist
      @B1OChemist  5 місяців тому

      @JohnBowen117 Basically, you use more movement to aim. Otherwords, you strafe and let the aim assist do the work for you.

      @@B1OChemist1:23 is when you said such. Not sure if you mean to move in conjunction to your aim with default inputs or to switch movement and aim analogue inputs? I've heard the latter recommended here and there when I'm wondering I'm so god awful at aiming in this game. Your videos are nice and to the point by the way, though I'm not so sure it helps much for a moron like me.

      I get this all the time, too. This is just a basics video. So you can start building good habits. Better habits are formed in the later half of the video.
      In the instances where you feel blanks. It is super important to always be near your team and just team shoot. Damage is key not kills. If you back someone off they aren't fighting.

I did testing, watched videos, and learned things that helped me and started helping people in gold find their aim. I don't think I could coach a diamond. Just give insight. Although, I feel fully confident in my ability to coach people in platinum and below.
