- Although the galaxy note series has been axed like several years ago, Samsung still maintains it's two major smartphone releases year after year. The first half of the year is reserved for the Galaxy S flagships, why the second half which used to be for the Galaxy Note, is now reserved for its foldable Galaxy Z series flagships. Samsung has already announced its S series flagship for the year, which means all eyes are now on the company’s foldable offerings for 2024, which is the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Speaking of the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Samsung seems to be planning some big upgrades for it's upcoming clamshell foldable phone. The latest information reaching us now, hints at a big upgrade in the battery department.

The renderer here missed the point ... the bigger flip screen might cover the lenses
I still am using my flip 3. I really didn't like the 4 as they made the hinge so very tight there's no way to flip it open and even using 2 hands I find it so tight and annoying. Then she the 5 came out I was honestly still not interested in it. I don't know if my flip3 can last for another year. But the small battery life and laggy slow camera reaction on the flip3 is annoying. Perhaps I should upgrade finally
Yeah, the Z Flip 6 would be a good choice if you're upgrading from the Flip 3. I would recommend

Yes absolutely. The Z Flip 6 is coming with some decent upgrades like bigger display and slimmer bezels, new cameras, and Galaxy AI. It's definitely worth the upgrade.

If Samsung gives us an S24 camera setup, better battery, and Dex, I'm switching to Flip 6
Unfortunately that won't happen. Hopefully DeX could come this year, but the camera is still inferior
samsung should add dex mode. this will replace my s22Ultra
The current Flip 5 is supporting Dex.

Garbage phones. Even after 5 generation of flip phones and inky after 7 months of owning Flip phone 5, my flip got the bubble in the crease. Samsung dosent want to take the blame or honor their warranty. Garbage company and garbage phones.

Yeah you're right. Z Flip 6 isn't much of an upgrade. Best to keep your Z Flip 5 for another year. It would've been a good choice to upgrade if you were coming from a Flip3/Flip4
