I really dig your video bro well said and laid out not swearing every 5 min... great vid
Greg Holub thank you for the feedback.
Revisiting this video real quick. I'm going to use my original air box but I just want a better pipe on the bottom. Especially since mine broke and I had to superglue it haha. I'm just going to add a pipe on the bottom that better gets air from the front. Good vid btw.
What is the length of the pipe for the intake? (long pipe)
good job i like the way you did it👍
Quite a bit late to this but I’m doing some repairs on my shit box is there a certain sized filter I should use?
Short n sweet nice saab
Thank you
hey levi i really dig this build im gettin a low mileage 04 93 aero convertible annd want to do this build
Noticed you went with king tuning after JZW went missing. How are the tunes? I'm on the fence about where to go for tuning. I'm between king tuning,MPS, or saabtunerscott from eBay. How's the support from king? I appreciate it
King was awesome. We did data logs as much as possible to perfect it.
Hello I have a 04 saab 9-3 and I would love to install a boost gauge I was just wondering what line your tapping into? I think I found the same one on my car that goes off to the right by the washer fluid container but I'm unsure if that's the right line
Are you able to post a link to the Long Pipe you used? Or did you order the system from Autozone and just use the pipe from it?
Hey, I have an 04 93 and was wondering if the ecu would let me hook up an aftermarket boost controller, after of course I disconnect the factory one
It will go into limp mode if you don't have a tune for it.
Supp Levi great showing your invetion. But I have a short ram intake on my saab and it seems Did not work is slowing me down when I press the gas any idea why that happen and the check engine is on , the sensor it is connected
maurizio Eskobar you need to connect the sensor for it to work
maurizio Eskobar did you cut the air box like I showed above. Also clean the MAF
What code are you getting? It sounds like your filter is too close to the MAF. Prevents the MAF reading accurately.
Why the turbo in the back with the heat
Because that's where the exhaust is on this motor.
ok so when I 1st saw the vid on the vid description you had all the mods that you done to your car, and not the links that are posted now, and one of those mods said that you had a fmi from a Saab aero, so as far as I know 2003 and up Saabs 2.0 T and t arc, linear and aero all have the same intercooler that sits behind the radiator, and the v6 aero defenelity will not fit our 2.0 cars, I was wondering what intercooler are you talking about? our cars take 28×8×2.5 fmi and most of us use this setup as a true fmi.
99subigt ah ok your talking about my Tiffany RIP in my older video's. She got totaled out. I'm starting over on this one her name is Olivia. The FMI I did on my last was a mishimoto z-line. It worked amazing with some hairspray on the connections because they kept popping off.
99subigt also a great one for us is the evo 8 stock intercooler which I'm going with this time.
Levi Alvarado. Idk how can it be an old video, old car, when I've only seen this vid on your channel and this exact vid that I posted my last comment, but whatever and yes I know about the evo 8 fmi, you just need to do a lill tweek to the hose or else it will look like it's pinched.
Levi Alvarado I was wondering why can't we use the air intake from the cobalt turbo or the new regal? if you go to zzperformance.com and see the pics, the intakes look exactly like ours and cheaper than the bsr.
99subigt I never knew about zzperformance. Now I do. It might work if you get it tuned to the ID and airflow for the MAF
I see that you erased my comment, I guess I won't be getting my question answer? or it might get erase again, I'm not picking on you but if you know something that we saab owners don't know, it would be nice to date it with us fellow saab owners.
99subigt I never saw it. This is the first comment I've seen on this video.
99subigt please ask away.
Best way to get cold air is connect it to your airco. Couse it might get hot outside.
Lmao I'm not as gullible as #jokerhulk
It says 4 comments but IDK why it's not showing.
Dude your cooling liquid is close to empty:( 3:33
Only have to fill it up half way that’s the max it looks alright to me
Heyyy few questions does your gauge read vacuum?
Julio yes it did
GO SEABEAS

Automatic
No cel
Jason Beilke no CEL
Those Cold Air - just DO NOTHING to improve Performance in any engine..those things are a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY..for stupid kids who want to hear engine buffing like a Bull...air intake is determined by the ECM..if air were lacking you would have a DTC...no need to install those things.
Lol yes I know. I am stage 3 tuned pushing 26lbs of boost with 80# Bosch injectors now. This was a stepping stone. Also you get nice turbo noises.
Charles Caltrop your a dork
Shows how much you know .which is obviously very little...having the intake there is not about the air flow it's about the temperature of the air going in ..and yes it makes a huge difference when you have colder air .with both turbocharged and non turbocharged cars
