    Thanks brother for the updates, ive been experiencing similar symptoms to you . Its been a little over a year for me, all test came back normal .ppi's affected me in a negative way also. I stopped work due to the stress i been dealing with and felt like focusing on taking care of myself was the best choice at the moment. Its definitely a fight daily. Managing the stress and anxiety and staying positive is tough but it is the key out. Wishing you the best lets beat this

    Thanks for sharing your journey with us. I started getting reflux again a few months after covid became a thing. It caused me so much anxiety and shortness of breath, dry cough, clearing throat, heart burn. I am just starting on the acid watchers diet and a part of a facebook group for it. Hope you're doing well.

    I have been suffering from almost severe reflux like symptoms for the past one year . Had an endoscopy done Dr said no major issue just mild distal gastritis . I do have the typical gerd symptoms but I'm still confused as to what can I do to fix myself been on a strict diet for almost 3 months limited spice intake and cut down on non veg stuff i was feeling a bit better in b/w had some cheat days in between and now my problem seems to be a lot worser i can't sleep lying down at all , i have to sleep in a sitting position on a sofa. How come reflux has no cure !?

    Don't you think the causes are emotional or psychological in nature? For example, supressed rage or resentment? Dr. Gabor Mate and Dr. John Sarno talk about the mind-body connection and how the body pays the price for repressing stuff.

    The cough could be the change of season which I still get every year (typically onsets around October), however the worse of the symptoms have gone. I would possibly reconsider your career. I too get costochondritis and problems with my legs and feet, I'm convinced my body has a over reactive inflammatory reaction to exertion, maybe mild fibro. Some mornings I feel like I can't move. I am a pragmatist and believe you just have to get on with what you have got and not beat yourself up about trying to be 100%. I lower my expectations and I am happier for it. But that's just me. I have had to change my career because although I have (sort of) beaten LPR, I must have damage to my larynx as I cannot talk loudly at parties or talk for long periods of time. Maybe that's part of the inflammation angle. Who knows.

    @melaniejodrums 2 роки тому

    You sound exactly what I have been dealing with with…the LPR went away like 95% for a year when I gave up trying to treat it. It just went away….I was living then it came back worse than before. The breathing thing is horrible. Never had any of this until everything with the lockdown and Covid caused me an anxiety disorder I’ve had many whacky symptoms but the worst is LPR breathing thing. I would rather have the 24/7 heart palpitations back over this.

      Forgot to mention I'm a 36 yr old male. Was originally misdiagnosed with COPD after going to urgent care with shortness of breath. I thought at the time that it was from anxiety but am starting to wonder if it's reflux or whatever related. It has progressed over about 3 months(during a very stressful period for me) to pretty much all of the symptoms you have. Can't breathe through nose much at all(inflamed?) Throat issues like tingling, irritated, itchy, scratch, something stuck, food particles stuck or coming back up, cough sometimes. Stomach constantly feeling weird. Like in knots almost. Hot gas feeling in throat. One case of acid coming up into throat and waking me up at night. Next day felt like I had swallowed some rocks. Other symptoms Brain fog, confusion, forgetfulness, fear, worry, dizzy, off balance, vision has degraded the last few years to the point I need glasses. I'm not sure what's related to what anymore and my GP is clueless. Wants me on ppis but I don't want to take them. I'll post updates of my journey as well. All I know is it's depressing and sucks really bad. As a father of a young one and a business owner it has affected my life considerably

    Hey brother I totally understand where your coming from. I had to stop doing calisthenics and was getting in good shape. Iv had Costo for 10 years think it started from overtraining chest . Currently on day 3 of a bad flare not sure what's caused it. Iv tried everything backpod foam roller diet cutting out caffeine etc IV been through the darkest times cause of anxiety. More research needs doing into this condition. Here to talk if you need brother

I've been doing alot of research and believe there is something bigger going on with myself that I'm trying to get to the bottom of. I've come off my social media for a while as it was not good for my mental health. Hopefully I'll do another video within the next week or two. Hey brother I feel like you need to raise the top part of your bed 16 inches. Put some wood or bricks below it. Its uncomfortable but I think it is exactly what you need for your chest pain and esophagus. The recommended 8 inches its not enough. Make sure not to eat or drink close to bed time. I have also noticed that water fucks me up together with food, so I have only been drinking in the morning and 1 hour before bed.
    I had my endoscopy 2 weeks ago and it came back with gastritis and gastroparesis. I stopped eating vegetables and fiber rich foods and started eating easily digestible food like white rice instead. I feel it has definitely helped me and I have been able to put back a couple of pounds of weight. Its very easy to starve yourself when you are in pain every time you eat so its important to maintain your weight and calorie intake that your body needs to heal.
