“Dodrio believers” is a very accurate way to describe us. Not that i play them that well but i support my roadrunner
I always call him “fast dodo” but roadrunner makes sense too.
Drill peck is way worse than tri atk cause you can’t choose when you go in with drill peck. Drill peck is extremely risky cause it’s all or nothing meanwhile tri atk can provide a lot of pressure while also keeping your spd bar full. It has so much more usage than drill peck which basically either makes or breaks your game.
Also tri attack actually has synergy with the boosted autos compared to drill peck. Drill peck incentivizes you to not use your boosted auto attacks, which is one of the dumbest things you can do as dodrio. Use your strengths!
I do find drill peck usefully when the enemy team has quite a few back line mages. As I get in and push them into my team for kos.
True tho if you land drill peck you get 12k dmg but u also get vulnerable so it still better tri attack
@@urmad9 that why there is move called agility which makes you unstoppable for a sec and helps you to escape

I’ve been loving Dodrio myself as well! Tri Attack Agility feels a lot more clean. You can still jump over walls with your sprint basic anyways, so it just has more utility imo.

Hey criss, there's this jp player named 神速三段突き, nura398 on twitch who is probably one of the best dodrio mains i watched. That dude soloq to 2k masters and had like 17 win streaks on dodrio. His dodrio plays are full of highlights with how he juke around opponents. You should check him out.

I'd like to see ponyta that evoles into rapidash would be pretty dope. As a speedster bkuz my favorite pokemon movie of all time was the pokemon race where dotrio was winning the whole race until ponyta evoles & catches up & wins.
Dodrio is kinda underrated and its still decently rated i feel, the speed with float stone gives him a lot of presence around the map, all that on top of his high damage.

I have been watching a lot of lutano streams lately because he also took a huge liking to the bird. I didnt realize the madman was gonna be taking it to tournaments though o.o
tri attack is so fun especially with razor claw, drill peck is hilarious but its no tri attack ):
I've been using Tri attack on release because that boosted attack you get after getting full stacks is chef's kiss
Drill peck is way too hard to use. In a lot of fighting scenarios, it’s really a hit or miss. You can deal a pretty decent amount of damage, however, if you miss the move on a crowd of enemies, the cooldown is much longer, and you are basically screwed.
Lmao using drill is easy asf. The hard thing is there are too many cc

Tri attack with agility is good imo,with agility u can dash 3x and hard to chased,u can use boosted attack 3x on enemy while running around after using agility..depends on ur liking tho

I'm a fan of underrated, misunderstood, and high skill ceiling mons and thus I am a fan of lutano
Jump kick allows you to go through thick walls(wall right and left to rayquaza). Also agility doesnt always guarantee the full speed bar which allows you another dash but jump kick does. Agility doesnt also makes your max speed that faster. It just supports your speed bar.
agility + makes you instant full speed bar and also removes stun and crowd control which makes dodrio annoying in late game.

Still perplexed by people using jump kick with tri attack. Agility seems like the better pairing by far. It is a lot of fun, though.
How are you perplexed by a mobility option that also fills your speed bar when you hit it? Have you ever played mobas in your life?
@@ximienlundquist8487 Not only does Agility fill your speed bar FASTER, it gives you a purify and does so instantly when it reaches plus.
@@sirfailalotful 1. There is a delay after you use agility, 2, you already have full heal which makes it redundant for most of the game, 3, you again ignored that jump kick is a mobility option.
I would love playing against your dodrio. You must either do nothing or die so much giving the enemy team free wins lmfao
Both agility and jump kick are good. High Rank players seem to prefer Jump Kick, but Agility is more simple to use and gives you a more 'convenient' option if you don't like Jump Kick.
Essentially, both of your points are valid, but they don't mean that the other option is bad. Although at the highest level of play, Jump Kick does seem to perform better.

Cris I think tri attack is getting more play than drill peck I wasn’t expecting that cause in the pts everyone was saying drill peck was the better pick but when people played dodrio more it slowly lead to picking tri attack over drill peck I am pretty sure that is what happen

They buffed tri attack after the pts, I think drill peck would be better if it didn't use up the speed meter like tri-atrack so you could finish off enemies with a boosted attack since drill peck doesn't do enough damage to one shot

dodrio has a very strange gameplay, I didn't like pokemon in general, I appreciate good players of this pokemon for the difficulty
I’d argue the Mon is simpler than what people make it out to be. The hardest thing to learn is the bread-n-butter combos (Tri -> Boosted Auto -> Jump Kick -> Tri -> Auto Attack). After that, you play Dodrio like any other plug-n-play roaming assassins, except Dodrio got an innate Float Stone and healing privileges (you can stay in the battlefield longer, like Gren).

I feel like there is almost enough Pokémon for competitive games to do a draft with picks and bans. Teams using same mons tends to be kind of lame imo. There isn’t as much strategy

Also when you buy the unite membership for 10$ you get 40 Aeos gem per day in a month right? Which add up to 40x 31 thats up too 1,240 i don't know how that is in real money for sure if someone does please let me know im pretty sure it's around 10$ back i know some months are short or longer than other depends on the month does that change or is it 31 days exactly when I purchased the membership which helps me saved for costumes for pokemon right? For the legendary skins takes about 2 months just by logging in the game and now with the new pokemon being gems in first in shop i have some else to use for i would buy if i really liked the pokemon and trainer outfit.try not use my gems .
Dordrio is easy A tier with this build. It's just it's weird to use.

I believe in Dodrio supremacy. I think people dismiss it as weak because it is harder to play. And it isn't a playstyle that people sre familiar. Dodrio joins and leaves the fight all the time

I when agains one two time one match he won and the next I won but was I sweating I was, was he sweating probably lol I was using gengar but mans almost one shoot me 😂 it was fun and frustrating cuz my team was kinda Garbo best damage they did was 30K I DID AROUND 140K dame so I think that says a lot but hey might try that character later on

Shocked at how poorly Lutanos team rotated to objectives… kinda looked like a solo queue game in a lot of places. Lots of grieving and pointless squabbles.

Clearly they had a gameplan, otherwise they wouldn't have won the tournament. Also in full team gameplay it has been very common since the beginning of competitive to have people seperate from the team to gather experience around the map so it doesn't go to waste. It's just that in soloq, without coordination, your team will default to going in like cavemen, which is why it's only an option in a full premade team.

mime is still amazing. mime's new moveset is power swap+confusion. power swap+confusion combo does a lot of damage
I, different from the people in the comments, I prefer drill peck than tri attack I think it impacts the game more with agility I end the game alone

Thats right. It feels like max speed bar drill peck is another dodrio unite skill.
Drill peck drains your speed bar while tri attack doesn’t. Your boosted auto attack is one of the strongest in the game. Not using it so you can use drill peck is one of the dumbest things you can do as dodrio.

@@user-rx6jv5ye9o a weak unite move that drains your speed bar and doesn’t allow you to finish off squishy pokemon sometimes. It’s an unreliable all or nothing move that doesn’t have synergy with your boosted auto attacked.
