I'm from Nepal but we don't really do the maths while making a flag. we just make it our own way. one right angled triangle on top of another right angled triangle but with base a bit shorter. Make a rotated crescent moon in the upper triangle. draw some mountains on top of it. in the lower triangle, make a circle and again cover it with mountains and cover the figure with a border from outside. Color it and done.
