@@jessicavillarroel5328 good job! I found that keep yr piping tip level as your turning the nail helps create that cool dimension. I know, trust it’s easier said than done. However, she is a very good teacher!!

Hi, How do I stop my flower edges having ruffles?
Yummy
Благодарю рецепт таких цветов
buttercream recipe pleaase, trying out those!
Hi Tricia, You can watch our buttercream recipe video here: ua-cam.com/video/EWEhHhcnwYQ/v-deo.html
Sugar Geek on UA-cam has an awesome “Easy Buttercream” she uses Pasteurized egg whites from a carton, then adds her powdered sugar and then the soften better little by little. Oh, and don’t forget your flavoring in a pinch of salt LOL it is heavenly. If you do happen to check it out and make it, if you feel like it’s too soft you can always put it in the fridge for a bit to firm it up. I love Liz’s (The Sugar Geek) videos as well🥰🥰🥰🎂
Can you make a video of how you do this icing, please
And how would you transfer the flower from the pin thing onto the side of a cake? Or do you just pipe it directly onto the Cake’s side? ☺️
Elizabeth Polanco so you pipe it on a flower nail but make sure there is parchment paper underneath and once your done piping place it into the freezer to harden up for 20mins and then take it out and take it off the parchment carefully and place it on the cake 😊
Can i pipe these flowers directly on the cAke? I don’t have nail
Informative :-)
Why does everyone go on about 'Shortening'? What would be our equivalent to Shortening in England? And a recipe that gives in kg and not cups (for all those that do give out measurements in cups)
Apart from that it's a great tutorial, thankyou.
I've now just got to get a good recipe for royal icing to try this out successfully
It's the heat in many US places that has them adding shortening to the recipe, it helps stop it melting. Stick with normal all buttercream icing, it tastes far, far better. So a year late but there's your answer ;) If you really, really want to try it then it was in my local Tesco superstore as an alternative to lard. I just wouldn't bother because it's gross.
@@helenwright3007 thankyou for that. Still never done butter cream with shortening. However I did find shortening useful when I made rice krispie marshmallows to mould for figures..... used it to stop the mixture sticking to my hands :-) x
Flower = Flor
Question: how do you transfer the flower from the paper onto a cake ? Does it go in the fridge ?
They make special scissors for exactly that
You can move the flowers (still attached to the paper) to a cookie sheet and put it in the freezer. They should be a breeze to get onto the cake after that.
How do u make that buttercream? Usually my buttercream is either too hard or too soft. I need a perfect recipe
Hi, You can check out our buttercream recipe here: bit.ly/2Jqpunu
How do you get the flower off the paper/pin and on to the cupcake or cookie? do you have to chill it first?
If you are not piping directly onto your dessert, place on wax paper and chill for about 20 minutes, or until hard to the touch. You can peel off of the paper and attach with buttercream.
Yeah but how would you transfer that without putting a bunch of frosting underneath.
Freeze the flower and use frosting scissors.
Cool! First 💕
Do u sell nozzle
How to keep these flowers on the cake
What is the icing recipe?
I never succeed in the icing^~^
You can find our buttercream recipe here: ua-cam.com/video/EWEhHhcnwYQ/v-deo.html
Pretty damn early yessssssss
Can make the flowers but when I pick it up from the flower nail I ruin it all the time 😭
Maybe yr icing is too soft. Have you tried leaving them on the parchment squares and placing them in the fridge for a bit to firm them up? That’s what I did. Good luck 🤞
Are you using butter cream?
Yes! However, this technique can also be done in royal icing.
Queria entender.
