However it would be awesome if he got creative and emboldened with this to do some quite aggressive things within bounds but like Libby said based on new Intel that might expose money trails of the corrupt SC to foreign sources. @@sueprator9314 Within WHAT bounds? The Supreme Court just said today that the president can do anything he wants if it is within the scope of his official power and that has a very wide berth. What is "out of bounds" after today? It means he can't go out on the street and SA someone but he can shoot someone in the Oval Office if he think's there's a good reason for it. That is who we are now. Biden might be a little bit too inclined to play by the old rules and that concerns me because if we don't win and win big, the next administration that comes in will be doing anything they want and I don't know if people are really using their imaginations as to what that will look and feel like. And I'm afraid that your Biden will be so concerned about proving to everybody he knows would be honorable is that he won't save us from it.

Judge Merchant needs to give him a tough sentence being it’s not under immunity. He did those crimes before he was president and it’s not official acts. I hope Chutkin does the right thing and gets Jan 6 trial going. It’s up to her now.
Even is the trial isn't started - Chutkan can start proceedings immediately, for the prosecutors to "lay everything out" under full glare of the media, so it can be "decided upon" re immunity

Every judge should fight this decision. It's a threat to their careers. Every autocrat dissolves the rule of law.
Justices are only appointed by Senate Judiciary Committee with a final vote with the entire Senate. It use to be they needed 60 votes to appoint Justices, now it's only by 51 votes in Senate.

Supreme Court Judges should be impartial and above accepting bribes. And they should never be above the law. Putting them in the job “for life”, compromises integrity, honesty and honour.

The SC told Judge Chutkin (documents case) that she must have hearing which could be a good thing. She is no longer bound by her former 88 day wait for the trip. She can act quickly and I suspect she will.

I didn’t feel any emotion when I heard the ruling, because I immediately saw it coming back like a boomerang. We all know boomerangs strengthen their forces when returning to the point it was thrown, hitting very hard. It’s a double edge sword.
I’m not a psychic, it’s just obvious. Instead of their constitutional duties of “review the law”, they acted like defending the former and crowning the seating President.
Within his given new powers, Biden should name Jack Smith the Attorney General. With all due respect, Mr Garland has demonstrated out of normal slow pace justice.

I hope chad these decisions by the court finally begin to help people understand the critical importance of the courts, the presidency, and the Senate.
None of the bad decisions this court has made over the last few years. Would have happened had we made a different choice in November 2016. Voting rights, row, environmental protections, chevron, affirmative action all would still be the law of the land. We also wouldn't be talking about an imperial president who can assassinate an opponent in an official act and not be held accountable.
It's nice to see something hopeful. We sure need it!
