    that was epic. So glad to see a human working. Most would redo the video and act like they never goof up. I enjoyed learning from your mistake.

    Rob, I can sympathize with the allergy. After about 5 years of beekeeping I had an anaphylactic reaction, which I recognized could have been life-threatening. For awhile, I considered hanging up the beesuit for good. But, as a physician myself, I felt like there might be a better solution, and I decided to consult with an allergist before giving up. After going through some basic testing, my reaction was confirmed, and the allergist got me started on honeybee and mixed vespid venom desensitization therapy aka “allergy shots”. I asked the doc if I should give up beekeeping and was surprised by her answer. She said no, because I was going to need to get the allergy shots anyway, so it would not be necessary to stop beekeeping.
    I’m happy to report that 4 years (and quite a few uneventful stings) later, I am still happily keeping bees. The shots are a minor inconvenience every 2-3 months, and I will probably need to keep them up for several more years. But it has been worth it to continue the hobby I love.

    is there a alternative solid wood bottom board insert ,that can be slid in place of the tray,i wasnt sure why you had so much leaking,or did you just have trays out to clean?nice job,and fast compared to my johnos

    I’m a 20 hive hobbyist. When I first saw the ProVap 110 a few years ago, it looked fantastic compared to my old wand + battery. So I spent the $400 without hesitating. It works fine…but it sure is a pain driving my truck through the muddy orchard to plug in and string out 100’ of extension cord to treat in December. If I had only known a battery powered equivalent would be coming out the next year, I would have gladly waited!
    One problem I have with my ProVap is OA condensing in the nozzle, plugging it up and blowing off the cap. I wrapped it with insulation and that seems to help. Does your device get plugging like that?

    Hi Rob, I really like the look of this vaporizer. I have small mini hives that I make for my kids and others that don’t want to lift heavy boxes. Two of my small boxes equals half the volume of a nuc box. Do you have small half dose measurements for your vaporizer? I use a pan style vaporizer and have to weigh out the OA.

    Loading the charger, have you weighed the dose against the marks on the charger? Looks like a great machine.

    Hey Rob, how many grams of OA do the tubes hold? Also do you sell the spacers? Thanks!

    • @LorobBees
      @LorobBees  2 роки тому

      Can go up to 4 grams per shot. And I will just don’t have them on the website yet. Hoping by this weekend.

    Any issues down the road with the vaporization hitting the battery connection? How do you clean it after usage? Can you mix baking soda & water and neutralized the stainless steel I assume?

    • @LorobBees
      @LorobBees  Рік тому

      No issues with the OA getting into anything, including the battery connector.
      And you can do that though a damp rag of distilled water does the trick well.

    Have you ever tried to treat through the bottom entrance disc?

    • @LorobBees
      @LorobBees  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, until i paid attention recently i found that the oxalic acid was actually sticking to the side of the frame and not getting a good enough cloud within the hive. That is why i moved to testing though the front door.
