- Monroe says there could be multiple Varme Tyv (a snake-like Wesen) in the house if this is the hibernaculum, so they have to be careful.

It would've been simple enough to keep them down there. "Wu, Hank, stand on the trapdoor with me. Monroe, get the fridge." Problem solved.
And all of them together can push out or just smash through the wooden floor.

They literally walked into a snake nest and woke them while they were hibernating. Ofc they will be pissed.
If the snakes had killed them. They would have probably all died from cold before returning to the basement.

This is the episode that I love and hate the most because here you can clearly show Nick's double morals...
I don't personally really see double morals in this episode. He wasn't going to kill them all because they were only looking for one guy. Plus, explaining a boat load of frozen corpses to the rest of the unit would be really difficult
@@corikublank Well I see it from a different perspective because the guy was not really a murderer, he didn't kill people because he wanted to but because it was his primal instinct for survival... it's not really the guy's fault and it was not premeditated but on the other hand, you got Trubel, she murdered quite a few people even when she could've just knocked them out but her fight-or-flight instinct drove her to kill and yet Nick cut her loose. So yes, I do see double standards.
@@victormiranda5197 I totally get that but you also have to remember that Grimms are basically programmed to kill Wessen and Nick didn't at first because he's a cop and not because he realized they all weren't bad as that came later. Trubel stopped killing unless it was to save people or it was a Wessen that literally couldn't be put in jail after they realized not all Wessen are bad
@@corikublank Trubel didn't kill every wesen she encountered. She killed the ones that were trying to kill her for her being a Grimm or because they thought she was a human to be made a victim, such as the Wendigo who invited her to his place to be his dinner.
@@victormiranda5197 except he wasn't going to turn himself in and was trying to escape. two people were killed and another escaped.

I'm kind of surprised that Nick and the rest of them were not carrying a bunch of CO2 fire extinguishers to incapacitate them if they became agitated like beekeepers use bee smokers. And what's the deal at 4:48 when they put that shovel through the handles of the "sliding" barn doors? What did they think that was going to do?
