This is a lovely Bible and the wide margins are fantastic plus I'm really glad they have it in the NKJV. I bought this back in 1988 as a present to myself. I got it in burgundy leather and it is large print. It has been my favorite Bible to read and study with ever since. I do have some newer study Bibles now, but this one holds a special place for me. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous Bible with us, God bless!
KJV is my mainstay Bible. That is not to say, I always understand, what I am reading. For instance, Romans 29:11. Joel Osteen gave an interpretation of the verse that was understandable. When I reached for my KJV, and looked at that verse, I was unable to interpret it, as Joel communicated it. I am longing to replace my current KJV because it has taken a lot of abuse while I was living in my car. Now I can have bookcases, in the apt I live in. It is a new world. Thank you for sharing this Bible. I want it! The best way to counter gossip is with my own clear and concise communication to you. You can decide who matters and I will be very accepting if you disapprove of me. I am 65 years old. They have been bothering me since 1986. It's the same old song they keep playing. Maybe people like to look at the close-ups. Since I have fallen, myself, I was curious about Oprah falling on the stage. I watched it more than several times. Just observing. Trying to take each moment apart to understand how she began her fall. It's ok with me what they are doing. It is drawing people close to me in a loving way. I cannot question why God is allowing this. I can only obey his way and seek to draw closer to him. Life is a beautiful journey.

I think I’d go all in on this if they moved all those numbers over to the margin with a shorter script interrupting the text. Love how some bibles are using underlining too like the KJVER. Great review as always! Thanks for sharing it!
I don’t mind the layout at all, I would love to see it be line matched and a darker print, that would be nice cause the print is a little hard on my eyes at times. I like the KJV/KJVER Sword Study Bibles too, it’s nice having the word meanings after the verses, more KJVs should do that cause some people have a hard time with it. The KJV Preaching Bible does an awesome job of having the word meanings at the bottom of the page, that is one of my favorite KJVs to read from...thanks for watching and commenting. Bible Believing Christian awesome, that good info! I’ve have the burgundy kjver in my CBS in my cart all week and haven’t been able to take the plunge. I was going to ask if you knew of a premium bible that has the in text word definitions like the Henry Morris. I’m so thankful Brother Atwood recommended that bible. Just learning a handful of words turned on some huge lightbulbs! Thank you for the prayers! They’ve been a great lift in my life through some intense days. I thank God for you in my prayers.
Neat, neat Bible. I know absolutely zero of the original languages so this would make for some interesting studies. There’s a wealth of information in it. I might be a bit overwhelmed with it. I love seeing all the different Bibles out there though, it’s fascinating.
Great review. I am going to go watch the CSB one. I don’t remember if I’ve seen that one or not. It would be nice if they did line matched text. Other pubs are spoiling us with line matching but I don’t think I’d let that deter me from buying one, it looks like a great Bible to learn Hebrew and Greek words

Nice review. I think I’d rather have nicer paper with less ghosting and a darker print than a fancier cover. Don’t ya think ? 🤔 but it’s a neat Bible either way but I’d pay more for a better text block than a goatskin cover. As long as it is sewn I’m more concerned with print quality these days. What the heck is that suppose to mean, that i can't really trust my KJV Bible was perfectly translated into English ?. And that unless I'm familiar with Hebrew and Koine Greek, i won't be able to truly understand what God actually said in his word in certain areas ?......... HOGWASH.
Though i don't mind using a Strong's KJV Concordance from time to time, a Noah Webster: American Dictionary of the English Language (1828 Facsimile Edition) is more than enough to get the job done.

Higinio Morales I didn’t take it that way at all. It’s not in any way saying you can’t trust or understand your King James Bible without knowing the original languages but King James Onlyists might take the statement as an attack on the King James but I don’t see it that way. They’re not in any way implying the way you took it. And I use my Noah’s way more than my Strong’s and there’s an 1828 app too which is even easier than manhandling the beast of a book that it is. That thing is massive.

Don't put words in my mouth, and for the record. Yes, when it comes to the English language, i only read and fully trust the authorized King James bible. Though i don't go around busting the balls of the brethren, that prefer to read from different bible translations.
Pause the video and re-read the back of the box, cause it sure as heck does sound like they were saying exactly what i wrote in my original comment.
I tend to do this weird thing, where i pay close attention to what other people say or write about concerning the KJV Bible, and because of that, i tend to catch certain "things", other people miss for some odd reason.

Yeah it’s interesting how they chose to word that cause I can see how it can run someone the wrong way. Maybe the publisher will see these comments and take them into consideration for future editions. Cause I never thought of it that way until I read your comment and I totally see what you mean and you make a very valid point...it is a really neat Bible, I would like to see them line match it and use a darker print though cause that would be easier on the eyes. My other KJVs with a nice bold print tend to spoil me, the KJV Preaching Bible in particular is my current favorite and I can’t put it down. I highly recommend that one. I also like the 1828 dictionary, very useful, I use the phone app all the time but I’ve got the physical dictionary as well and it’s neat! Thank you for watching and commenting, I appreciate it!

It's the only bible i own that's not a red letter edition, though i do like the look of the blue reference number and chapter headings. I bought it last year thanks to one of your videos, you let all your subs know that it was on sale on Amazon for $35 during Christmas season.

I have the KJV and NIV in this Bible it is very useful for studying and getting into the text.
This is a very good bible! I'm pretty pleased with the content. I'm not too crazy about the genuine leather and glued binding, but the goatskin and sewn binding seems like that would be great. Bottom line, it's very resourceful!
My Herbrew Greek Key Word Study Bible KJV in Black Genuine Leather is Smyth-Sewn. I have the 2008 edition. I've had mine for several years and it's still in great shape. It's one of my favorites for a study Bible.
@@WarriorForChristJesus Well, I got all these other study bibles that I use all the time, I hardly use this one as I should.. bibles were made to read, not to sit on book shelves, lol.. so maybe if I read it more it would break in a bit.. but it is definitely glued in. I think it's a 2008 version.. still don't know how to really tell.
My bad.. I found a page that had some thread on it... and I found the description of it on Christian books and it says it's sewn. But a lot of the pages stick together at the "gutter" part of the pages.
@@CarolynAmador68 Mine is all marked up with writing and being highlighted. I don't use it much as I used to. I use the Olive Tree app a lot. You can purchase the AMG Publishers Complete Word Study 4 Volume Set for $79.99. This is way more resourceful than having the Hebrew Greek Key Word Study Bible. I have other various Bible apps that I use also. The main two Bibles I use are the Cambridge Concord Goatskin and my CBP Black Water Buffalo Note Takers Bible.
According to the publisher all of their Bibles are sewn. Sometimes it can be very hard to find evidence of the stitching. And also sometimes there can be excess glue from the head and tail bands being installed and it can make it appear glued. The ones I have are sewn but they’re also newer ones too. In the past o purchased the NKJV I genuine leather in burgundy. It was purchased about 8 months ago. When I first opened it there was a very strange odor and to this day it still has an odor that if I’m exposed to it for very long it will give me a headache. Have you found this to be the case with either one of yours?
Hey BBC, thank you for another great vid. Always appreciate your reviews with such great comments and suggestions. My studies are very in depth and so I always do an extensive word study. This Bible is indispensable for this. Some of the definitions end up being actual study notes. I am doing a study right now on a number of verses in Deuteronomy chapter 10. The definition of the word "alien" seems more like a doctrinal study than a definition due to its length and how detailed it is. This is not a good "go to" Bible in my opinion. Because of the kind of Bible it is the format is very distracting. But this is why I consider this Bible a study tool. And as a tool it is excellent. Thank you again.

I had this Bible and love the idea however some of the notes are extremely bias towards questionable teachings so just be careful with this one.
I have been really thinking about buying the NKJ translation and i have a few questions:
The hard cover is it sewn or glued?(maybe is a dumb question, but can a hard cover be sewn ?)
Every leather cover is sewn?
I have seen versions that are listed as having 2615 or 2684 pages, which one is better?
How long will the hard cover last and what i should be carefull about?
Is genuin leather the same with goat skin leather in terms of durability?
In your opinion is worth spending more money on a leather cover but have a low quality paper and a less readible text or the hard cover with a more clearer text is better, even though is not going to last as much as the leather one?

The Hebrew Greek Key Word Study Bibles should all be sewn bindings. Some translations may have more pages than another. For example a KJV vs an NKJV will vary in the number of pages so as far as number of pages go there’s no concern there because one with more pages isn’t going to be any better than one with less. Anything with a sewn binding should hold up for a very long time, a glued binding won’t be as durable just because sometimes the pages can come out because they’re not sewn together so a glued binding could eventually fall apart or have chunks of pages come out so a sewn binding is much better than glued. But with covers it’s more a personal preference of what you like. Most hardcover ones will have plain white page edges whereas many that are imitation leather or leather will often have gold page edges, I personally like gold gilded page edges because it looks nice and it does offer some protection to the page edges...if there is one that has better readability I will opt for that one over a particular cover type because the book block itself is what’s most important. And with sewn bindings it’s usually easier to see if it is sewn when looking in the maps section to look for threads, sometimes they’re not visible but the majority of the time the maps area is easier to see the stitching. But a hardcover that is sewn will last many years to a lifetime if it’s taken care of. Just because one has a leather cover doesn’t mean it’s better, I’ve seen $230 Bibles that are lower quality than some of my $40 Bibles. For me the most important thing is the readability of the actual text because a Bible with a lot of ghosting or show through will be distracting when trying to read from it but if you have a Bible that has a lot of ghosting you can reduce it by putting a black piece of paper behind the page you’re reading and that cuts it down tremendously and I have a video on that which I’ve linked here. Can anyone tell me if they make this bible in a large print edition? So far been unable to find one , My eyes are not that great so I hope they make one
As far as I know they don’t make any large print editions. It would be nice if they did.
Strange that it`s bound in goatskin!
How is the paper quality? A lot of Amazon review are from unhappy people who greatly dislike the ghosting to two pages and the thinness.
This will become my everyday Bible provided you see the aforementioned features in a different light.
The paper reminded me a lot of the NASB editions put out by the Lockman Foundation because it had the bluish tint to it and it did have quite a bit of ghosting. If the print was darker it would be much easier to read from. If you use a piece of black paper behind the page that reduces the ghosting a lot. But the lighter font and thinner letters with the style of text they used it can be harder on the eyes. They definitely need to upgrade their paper and do some line matching and darker print and that would make a big difference. But yes the ghosting is very noticeable when it’s in front of you which is a shame because the content of this Bible is fantastic.

You don't get a closer relationship with God with word studies. Your salvation isn't in the scriptures as the Pharisees carried themselves. Your relationship strengthens when you lean on him and trust him even when your understanding fails. Just the Bible alone with no study notes no Greek or Hebrew translation is more than enough. You need to hear the word and the Holy Ghost will teach you how to rightly divide the word of truth. Not by trying to do it yourself and leaning on your own understanding rather than on the one who made you. You don't need to understand all things right away either, so don't force an understanding, God's timing is perfect. When you don't have an answer that is when patience helps tremendously and to be ok with not knowing and trusting in God and his timing alone.
Amen, well said! My favorite KJV right now is the KJV Preaching Bible, a nice large font and excellent print quality and zero distractions cause the references are on the bottom of the page. Makes for such a nice reading experience. Thank you for watching and commenting

I use pigma micron pens and usually use the 005 size in the margins and the 01 or 05 for underlining. The highlighters I use are the dry highlighters which are kinda like a crayon consistency.
