- Deathmatch mode now awards you double points if you get a second taser kill within the same lifetime. And then triple points for a third. So... how many are possible within 10 minutes of deathmatch? Prepare to be AMAZED!!!!!

Since the points are accumilated, the total points at the nth kill would be the sum of all the points earned:
total = 15 + 30 + 45 + ... + 15*n
This is the sum of an arithmetic series and has the fomula
P(n) = 15n(n+1)/2 = 1/2*15n^2+15n
P(n) = 1000000
solve for n
n = 364.64
thus it would require a killstreak of 365 kills with zues only to become a millionaire

I've noticed that kills in DM warm up carry over to the main round, at least when it comes to earning health shots. I.E. I get one kill in warm up, don't die, then after two kills in the actual game I earn a health shot. Maybe the zeus is similar and you could start building the point bonus up during warm up.
yes. if it counts from previous game, it 100% counts from warmup. The game seems to only reset scores and spawns when warmup is finished, not much else

Hi Philip, as a lifelong csgo arms race exclusive knifer, I can say CS2’s tazer update and the increased verticality of the arms race maps has been an absolute game changer for stealing people’s levels. In CSGO I was averaging about ten knifes per game in the best map for knifing, Safehouse. Now that the Zeus also demotes a player a level I can get upwards of 20 Zeus + knife kills on the new Baggage, a map which in csgo was the worst for knifing. As someone who revels in the misery of others, I have to say life has never been so good!
This is my new hobby as well.

But what if someone drops you another taser after you shot your one? Will it reset the tase bonus? If not, you should be able to double the amount of taser kills in a game, as you could juggle them back and forth. Or maybe, you could even go beyond doubling...

If this is meant to be political commentary then less than lethal weapons are unreliable as opposed to a firearm that as long as it's clean and well enough maintained, could shoot hundreds of rounds without a stoppage. A taser can be rendered useless by as little as a thick hoodie

Mmmmm I love this. Idk why but I’ve always enjoyed tazing and since you get recharge it’s been my go to. I’ve killed my rank and kd but sneaking around nuke w a tazer is just too satisfying

there's another bug related to this that i've also reported to valve: if you get a kill (or two) in warmup in deathmatch and then don't die, you get the health shot early, since the state is only properly cleared upon death in DM. a solid bit of "valve, pls fix" there that doesn't really impact The Competitive Game at all.

Used to grind my csgo accounts myself. Back then It was super easy because the lobbies were full of people with +left. So you just ran around with a knife getting 1000 points (for max xp) easily. Wondering if the zeus is able to be used in a way to farm xp "legit".

If the taser timer resets when you die, and you die once or twice at the start of the round, you might be able to catch an extra net 15-30 points by the end.

So if you keep surviving between rounds indefinitely, does that mean you will eventually hit the max score possible in Deathmatch?
Is it the integer limit, does it roll over, or is there something else silly that happens?
What happens when you reach int points this way? Overflow into zero/minus points? Stuck number? Crash? It's actually a long?
I remember being kicked for frequent use of `kill` for speeding up the progress.

Round timer is 115 second and zues recharges every 30 second.So 4 kills but if you include bomb before round timer ends it extends it by 45 seconds.So its possible to get 5(even 6)kills in single round.

How high can it go before the game encounters issues? Int overflow? Being unable to display excessively high values? Unable to give too many points in one hit? Maybe worth testing on an official server to see if they have any protections, maybe have to fill the lobby with loyal testers.
as someone who doesn't play cs and this is the only cs channel i watch, what is the normal deathmatch score? like is 3450 a lot of points or is it basically just average?

If you die your back down to 15 points, so unless you're trying to add on Instead of waiting for the final kill, those last 20 seconds or so, this can't gain value.
Now that I've read what you said, yes, get 20 kills, then die once or twice to get 30 extra measly points 15 at a time for maximum points in a single death match.
I got 8 Zeus kills the first day it came out 😏 everyone was so mad. It was surpassingly harder than I thought it would be.

What if you got a zues kill and then died on purpose to get a fresh charge? You might be able to get more than 20 potentially

This should be a feature. I mean how often are people actually going to do this? And who the hell actually cares about winning at deathmatch beyond mild satisfaction. I want to see someone get to a 1000 kill streak with only the taser. It should carry over across maps and play sessions as well, maybe add some little kill streak notification on it or something, like a little minigame within a minigame.
what if you die, does the taser cooldown reset? would I be able to get a taser kill, die, then get another in less than 30 seconds?

i feel like the cooldown should be way lower in DM, or even disabled.
Doesn’t taser come back to full charge on death? So hypothetically getting a kill and dying could be faster than waiting for the recharge to happen, making the maximum a decent amount higher

What about a gamemode where you can drop a zeus. Everybody follows a teammate around the map dropping them fully charged Zeuses.

theoretically, only hardcoded game limit, either itll crash, get negative numbers, or no points/similiar. but thats probably for when you get hundred thousands of points.

isn't there a difficulty setting for the bots not shoot but still walk around? wouldn't that get past the 10 second invincibility on spawn?
I think there is, but it wouldn't really change the outcome, since his last shot was at the last second of the match and there's a 30 second charge period. 10 extra seconds wouldn't really impact the outcome much.
