These engines which Ashok Leyland is using in its Trucks and Buses are from HINO..Hino and Ashok Leyland have had a cooperative agreement for engine production in India since 1986. So the majestic ROAR and the Tough Rugged sound you hear is not from a home made Ashok Leyland engine.
