I’m late to the party of her genius. I rarely remember the first time I hear an artist’s music, but I vividly recall my introduction to Lucinda. I was driving in my truck in 1998 on 290 in Austin, Tx. when Can’t Let Go came on the radio, I was smitten within 30 seconds.
Were you listening to KUT or KGSR?
💔achingly beautiful
Everyone should be made to listen to this entire album.
Just listen to her voice. I've been at this a long time and I can tell you, It's just gorgeous.
I can't seem to find the right words. LU is a national treasure. Car Wheels is a top 5 record of mine.
She is just sooooo amazing
Her early stuff and later stuff is all worth a listen. And live, she brings it! Truly a great singer/songwriter. Thanks Lucinda.
more beautiful than ever
amazing to see all those songs of car wheels in little manila envelopes like that
She sounds fantastic here!
Love your music, Lucinda! From way, way back! So happy to see you on one of my favorite shows, CBS Sunday morning. Represent.
The first time I saw/heard Lucinda was on the David Letterman show sometime back in the 90's (one of those talk shows) and I forget the songs she did there, but I have been a fan ever since. Thank you, Lucinda for your music and making us feel just that much better.
Hidden angel. Car Wheels On A Gravel Road is an unrivaled record.
I was just singing Lucinda's song "Walk On" this morning. ❤ Thanks for this CBS.
Car Wheels on a Gravel is one of my top 5 albums of all time.
I haven't seen her in so long (almost 30 years) I think she had dark hair then
So proud to be from Lake Charles
I try to leave Lucinda but she keeps drawing me back. I just can’t get enough of her. Wish she would come back to Australia 🇦🇺
That voice though. Good gracious she still has the power to wreck a soul with a song she must have sang more times than she's slept
Let it become a movie soundtrack guys, let them young artists work for you and bring in ideas, now that anyone can hold a web camera, anyone is movie director for hobby and anyone is dreaming to become a Spielberg, let it happen, such tips make us dream, celebs lives are always like a movie set, just let us see them on cinema screens and make them worth . .. why not?
not hidden angel, buy did an angel whisper in your ear...
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm seeing her tonight!!!!!!

Oh, Lucinda, thank you always. I saw you years ago in Oakland, California and fell in love with your music and your poetry.
